    Had a messy time here - update all downloaded successfully, then I got booted out of the final loading screen (the one after character selection) with a disconnected error. And my router was down - nothing else in the house was connecting. So I rebooted everything and off we went again to get stuck on the 44% mark! Lots of patience and I got past that, past login, character selection etc., and boom, booted out, lost connection, router down. This happened without fail about 5 times till I saw Lohi's post mentioning dns resetting. So I closed everything down, disconnected from my router, reset the dns, reconnected and wow! In. No 44% rubbish! Breath held during the final loading screen (which nearly killed me, damn it's a long loading time) then in game! Phew.

    So to summerise ipconfig /flushdns worked for me (well, I assume it did). Might for 'you'.

    Hi, I just wanted to log in and post what I did that got me past 44%. I hope this works for someone.

    On the launcher, click the menu button (little triangle at top).

    Go to options.

    Go to proxy tab.

    Choose no proxy.

    Click ok.

    The launcher (hopefully) should restart and the game should start checking through all the files, downloading content, etc.

    FWIW, on the general tab, I have the launcher set to open when the computer starts, retrieve updates automagically every 1 hour, and keep launcher open.

    Hope this helps someone.
