Experience disabler costing a mere 100tp is great news! Now everyone who wants one can get it easily.

It's the equivalent of reaching kindred with two reputation factions, which would net you a total 100 tp for completing these reputation deeds.

It takes 122 reputation items (700rep each) to reach kindred from scratch.

Roll a new toon and feed it reputation items. Bree reputation is super easy to farm, and if a player has higher-level character, farming Thorin's Hall rep at Sarnur is probably the next easiest thing.

I respectfully disagree, 100tp for something that should be in the options I find quite insulting and I'm surprised at the number of people I read about that appear to have paid for it.

At most it should be a VIP perk.

When the stated goal of the game is progression (and leveling is one hugely popular form of progression for most MMOs), any player who wishes to work against that progression should have to pay for that luxury.

The XP disabler price drop is great news, but I disagree that it should be outright free. Especially when TP is so easily farmed in game.

I wanted to make the link available here, due to the current topic of conversation.
That's the 2nd bit of good news I've seen today on this forum! Well done Turbine!

You could still add the xp-bonus points. This would be a light blue bar while the VIP-boost is darkerish blue. So the bars would be behind each other, not working at the same time, but also not influencing each other.

And the bars don't interact with the weekend XP-boost at all. So maximum you can get is like:

normal xp + weekend-bonus + rest-xp(VIP)/xp-points boost (scroll) (both blue bars) + Tome of extraordinary experience + Shield of the Hammerhand + Token of Derudh/Hammerhand etc.

= 100%+100%/25%+100%+100%+25%+25%=450% this weekend and 375% the rest of the month.

For the things with store bonus experience and VIP bonus experience:

    "
    Store Bonus Experience
Does not work in conjuction with VIP Bonus, but will be saved for use on your experience bar until after VIP Bonus"

So VIP-experience bonus is used first, but doesn't take away store bonus experience.

Link from here. It's not an official Turbine-page, but normally everything there is right though.
