With all the talk of server transfers going on, I just wanted to take the focus away and ask when the real important stuff - update - is coming. This is the really exciting info that gets the mouth watering and wondered timescales for the rest of the year.

I would gamble on Thanksgiving time frame. That is when they usually launch an update and in one of the producers letters or live streams they already said late fall for Minas Tirith, in fact there is a pAlpha test :leaked: pic of Minas Tirith floating around here in the general section of the forums

They have also mentioned we are getting a new crafting tier with new mats

It was hardly a leak - Frelorn posted it on his weekly stream.

We have a rough idea internally when we want to launch Update 17, but we won't announce it just yet. As we get closer to the date and we are sure everything is as it should be, we will post the date.

Nah, I'm hoping Gondor Berries have icons like Mushrooms, that would make me smile =D

And Gondor Shards that look like Beryl Shards and can be used for false CODs, oh wait, nvm. :P

More seriously, I appreciate that new artwork takes time, but I wonder how hard it would be to do a recolor on some of these old icons for new tiers so that at least they look a little different would be.
