Hello! New player!

Hi!

I'm darksinh from Spain. i've been playing this game for many years, but I always kept uninstalling it and installing it again a few months later (starting with a new character). However, this time I intend to take this seriously and play from the beginning whenever I can. I am a free to play player and I intend on playing the game up to the Lone-Lands, then I'll consider subscribing for three months (the first time I'll subscribe to an MMORPG, because I LOVE all TLOTR lore) and maybe buying the expansions with the Quad Pack.

Well, that is all! I hope this time this will be my definitive adventure in Middle Earth!

Hi, Welcome to LOTRO!

If you are currently living in Spain or any other european country, i normally will recomend you to play on one of the 5 EU servers. When you finish downloading the game you will be able to see what servers are EU & what are NA. Quizas te sientas mas a gusto en Evernight que parece tener una poblacion muy grande de tus paisanos. The catch is that all EU servers seems to be overpopulated specially Evernight. Then maybe you wish to play instead on NA server. The NA server Gladden seems to be the lowest population atm & have players from all around the globe, so you may find playmates at almost any hour. It is also a very relaxed server (people will not give you a hard time cause your name or choice of language), low on dramma & trolls & most people seems to have no issues playing with people of other countries. The trick is you cannot transfer toons from EU to NA & viceversa, but that shouldn't be an issue if you plan to start with a brand new alt. Si deseas jugar en Gladden puedo invitarte a mi kinship que aunque es 1 kinship mixto, todos estan de acuerdo que el racismo & el drama barato no son bienvenidos.

By the way, i do encourage you get that quadpack, it is 1 of the best LOTRO investments since result way cheaper than unlocking each expansion individually. But don't subscribe until you finish questing & deeds on the starter areas & Lone Lands because you actually don't need it before that.

Daily hobbit gifts can be claimed in game & while is mostly scrolls, those really come in handy when you are starting the game. From time to time the hobbit gift can be specially shinny.

Probably I'll choose one of the European servers, and if there is one with a high number of Spanish players, well, much better, although English isn't a problem for me.

It is a very fun and addicting game

I promised myself I would only play for free, and that lasted about 30 minutes

But I don't know if I am up for subscribing yet, I think I will learn more before I make that decision

Es que este juego es enorme. Mejor ni mires la PC, solo ve a hacer cualquier cosa en la casa, de preferencia algo que tarde mucho tiempo & deja el juego que se tarde lo que haga falta. Recuerda antes de irte, desactivar la opcion de la PC de apagado automático cuando no está en uso.
