Pontin, the Harnkegger committee discovered a problem with the smell the roses skill that keeps the skill activated even when turned off if the player was already mounted when he turned it off. To combat this, have all riders dismounted and make sure any smell the roses skills are turned on at that time. Take screenshots and note the people who have them. Then have them mount. If you see any additional smell the roses skills active which were not active at the start, you know these people are cheating and should be disqualified. Take your time inspecting people at the start of the race for any other speed buffs. I'm not sure if there are any clothing speed buffs that affect the riding skill, but players do tend to try to sneak things past judges all the time, so do beware that this could happen. Expect the best of our players, but be prepared for problems, should they occur.

I will say during the race we found a bug/glitch not sure what happened but our racer Dorren was invisible we could not see him at all only his green dot on the map could select him and knew he was there, but not see him at all, was quite odd... (maybe the spirits of Fornost turned him into a ghost? lol).

Yes, I've seen the "invisible" thing once when our kin ran a race from Rivendell to the bridge near Lhanuch in the Windfells. We were running in pairs and my partner disappeared though I could still see his green dot on the radar. It showed him as behind me but a few minutes later he appeared on the road in front of me.
