Verdant drops are great for Agility based classes... the rest of us? Not so much.

Please, Turbine, give that ol' RNG a tweak, so that we get a more even distribution.

Umm, why is that? As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter if you want might/agility/will -jewelry for example, as each item requires different major flora. For example, now that oxlip/verdant extracts are more common than others, you can get earrings easier (might/agi/will, all three). As for armour pieces, you need rares (sapphires/amber), but they have pretty much equal chance to drop from whatever flowers you are picking. For example, I have got both sapphire and amber from oxlip.

But I very much agree that drop rate is very very low and also way too random.

He is probably refering to the new rings coming with U19.2 which on BR costed 4 sapphire, 5 amber and 500 of the smaller extracts, depending on the main stat.

Ah yes, thanks. I re-checked that post with screenshot from beta. Makes sense then.

So for 2 rings that's 1000 crimson extracts. Say you do a round trip of one smallish area, you might find 10 vetchlings or so, giving 20 extracts per run. That's around *50* runs up and down.

And raiders say getting flower armour and jewelry is easy....

Heh yes, 1000 extracts for 2 rings, PLUS 8 sapphires and 10 ambers... I WAS planning to re-gear all my 10 characters, but having to think that I have to pick up MINIMUM of 5000 specific flowers FOR RINGS ONLY, I might need to do a sanity check for myself...

Sorry, but this event is not working. The respawn rate is easily eaten up by the player number increase. My experience is that I had higher farming rates without the event, as finding a free spot was much easier.

I agree. And now it is almost over, with little reasonable chance to try this without US being online, or, for that matter, if you are a US player without the EU guys being online. Since I have work and sleep hours to consider. Why could it not run an entire week?

Well, unless you're an Agility based class, you're not missing much. I would say it takes about the same amount of time to gather crimsons and umbers as before.

    C'mon, man!

Getting flower armour and jewelry IS easy. It requires no group. It takes zero skill. All it takes is time--but far less time than it would take to gear up through instances/raids.

The gold flower rings will require more time than the teals; but still, way easier to get than raid rings.
