Shirefest 2017

The fourth annual Shirefest is coming back to Crickhollow June 16th-18th at the Methel-stage. Crickhollow's biggest annual event will welcome 25 bands to the main stage over 3 days. The show will run from 3pm-midnight or later on Friday, 12pm-10pm on Saturday, and 11am-10pm on Sunday (all times EDT/server time). Find out more about our performers and see the full schedule in our website's Meet the Bands section.

There's also an opportunity for everyone to perform their own songs at Bread & Jam on Friday, June 16th at 9pm EDT/server time at the Green Dragon in Bywater and Elevenses on Sunday, June 18th at 11am EDT/ST in the Ivy Bush in Hobbiton. These open stage music events take place every week: Bread & Jam on Friday nights in the Prancing Pony and Elevenses on Sundays at 11am & Mondays at 11pm in the Bird & Baby in Michel Delving. Make a character on Crickhollow for Shirefest and keep coming back every week for our regular music events!

Just a reminder: Bread & Jam will be held at the Green Dragon in Bywater. Elevenses will be at the Ivy Bush in Hobbiton. These events are open stage, so everyone has the chance to share their songs at Shirefest.

I was only able to pop in for a few sets over the weekend, but I think a hearty thank you and congratulations need to go out to Rosalie and the rest of the Second Breakfast team for putting together an outstanding three-day music festival on the server. Additionally, a big thank you and congratulations also go out to all the bands that put together an hour of outstanding music for the players to enjoy. The social aspect of this game sometimes takes a back seat to some of the more action-packed (or grindy) aspects of LOTRO (i.e. Skoi/ToT instances, raids, pvp) but when the server's community comes together to enjoy such an awesome effort by other players, it makes playing this game that much more fun. So thank you to all who organized, played music and enjoyed the show - you make Crickhollow an awesome server to play on! Happy adventuring, be safe out there and remember to enjoy some pipeweed!
