just curious about the policies since posts get deleted with no explanation.
was it an infraction? with no points deducted for violations? then why delete it?
was it a violation of ToS or CoC?
was it a biased moderator?
the world wonders.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"
Continuing the never ending battle to keep Lobelia Sackville-Baggins in check
The most typical cause of this is when a moderator has to delete a post, but other posts quote it, so also have to be deleted (depending), even if they sometimes have no problematic content.
Hi Cordovan, I have had posts vanish where I had not quoted anyone, and what I had written was purely advice for someone having an issue that I had a possible solution for; or asking advice myself on a high level area issue I had just encountered.
The posts appeared in my browser window after hitting "Submit", but there was no sign of them later on; I have always put it down to the very elderly software version the forums run on; even after prompting an update to it a while back (they were still running the 10 y/o release), it is still a major release behind what is current (4.xx v V5.xx).
I have even had the forum switch to mobile mode mid-sentence on me (Firefox on Win7).
