dont see anything about a patch or anything else coming on a wednesday or thursday...
Tuesday goes by without a reboot.
Pick ONE day and reboot/patch/or whatever else, why is that such a difficult idea. Do what you gotta do, just do it right.
Yea, I agree. This juggling downtimes annoy me. If tuesday is not convenient anymore, just start saying wednesday.. or thursday.. but pick. And stick to it.

We will have to take another look to see if Tuesday should be the right day for recurring weekly restarts when there aren't other releases planned for that week. DDO recently switched to Wednesday, so perhaps LOTRO will follow suit.
I would like to get a little more advance notice, to be honest....not really for me, I read the patch announcement in the launcher and have no problem that there is a next morning patch.... but often these things get announced around 5PM EST, close to EOB.... which means 11 PM in the EU, and pretty much everyone in the EU that would play that night probably has logged on by then, and would miss the announcement. They would then try to log on the next day, and complaints on the forums ensue.
Stick to a Wednesday schedule, and announce on Mondays at EOB would be better.
So basically: Monday EOB, say 5-6ish PM, announce whether Wednesday will be a reboot (downtime 1 hour usually at most) or a patch (downtime varies)
If you MISS the Monday EOB announcement for any reason (patch not ready, devs being slow, reasons, etc), then perform the patch on Thursday instead if Tuesday gives more clarity.
Basically, stick to a minimum of 24 hours between announcement and patch. There can be exceptions, such as a dire hotfix that really needs to be done quickly, but if you announce in Friday's stream that there might be a patch next week.... you should be able to announce on Monday by EOB that it is going to happen.
If you are on vacation, have another designated person do the announcement....
A little more organization and announcement is desired most by the players. I don't think anyone actually minds that there are patches, but especially with EU time zones..... people just want to know about it sooner then is currently the case.

A set time/day would be perfect. Make it so #1. Engage.

It was announced on Friday that there would be a small patch this week to fix some minor bugs, most likely on Wednesday. (Cordovan's Weekly Live Stream)
It's also been said already that based on internal schedules and also based on changes made on the DDO side that Tuesdays might not be the best day for weekly reboots, so they are "revisiting" the issue.
Now, as to when they get around to deciding that, and when they actually change the announcement Cordovan posted in 2018 to the new day, that remains to be seen..... It might be announced in the illusive Legendary Producer's Letter of the First Age we are all chasing...![]()

Skirmish event is supposed to start tomorrow so I'm betting on Wednesday. We shall see...
