    Was there anything concrete? I stopped after the 5th or 10th "yes we want to do this but we don't know when" and "yes this is a good idea and we are looking into it but we don't know if we can do it" followed by "we hope to have something we can show on LIs within a few months (very disappointing since I could have sworn he had mentioned that something would be out in about a month from when he said it which means less than a month from today) followed by "the new servers will be released Soon (TM)".

    I hadn't expected a lot that was more specific but I had hoped for something more than what I saw.

    By edit - this was in the forums June 14:

    "we're planning to get the Legendary Item revamp done before U31 launches. No announced date yet, but I'm hopeful that we'll have something to show players within the next month."

    Now it has become maybe something to show within a few months. Given that this cheese has been dangled in front of the mice for years, pulled ever backward, I find this emphatically less than encouraging.

    Well now we know that a classic server is possible, and that the code was not "lost", as I have heard so many people claim over the years, always without providing a source. Presuming the producer did not misspeak.

    Not sure why they would make the effort when they have been successfully tricking people by giving them copies of live servers with an earlier level cap, but nice to know nonetheless that it could be done.

    I just played it over a few times. Each time I heard "maybe in the next few months or so" or perhaps "maybe in the next two months or so". Thus what I said above. I much prefer your version I far prefer talking optimistically about half full glasses.

    Disappointed that there seems to be little interest in making existing content relevant at endgame again, but thems the breaks.

    I accept that monkeying with legacy structures is harder than it sounds, but the comment about the benefits of overhauling scaled instances mostly benefitting leveling players showed a misunderstanding of the question. I had asked what would it take for OD for example at lvl 140 to be relevant at the same time as the future Gundabad raid at lvl 140 so that people have lots of relevant things to do and run in U32 or whatever. Too much is the answer though.

    Edit: I rewatched and heard Raninia say leveling players "and I guess technically players who want to re-experience that content at a higher level". Yeah that's the thrust of it. The scaled instances are fine at mid levels, I was getting good relevant gear from School and Library (50+) while i was leveling through Gondor. Here's an example of what I mean though: last year while Minas Morgul and its 3mans were fresh I ran Glimmerdeep, a 3man from 120-cap originally, scaled to lvl130 T3. It provided a comparable challenge to the Minas Morgul 3mans at T3, but the loot had not scaled well and offered no incentive beyond a 1-time experience to me (I returned in late 2019). I think, if you're careful with loot tables so as to keep *some* best-in-slot loot to the current/new instances at any given time, you can broaden the available activities to endgame players good work that's been done in the past. The Vales and Ered Mithrin stuff are maybe a little easier to tweak into having T4 and T5 and relevant loot than OD though being of recent vintage.

    What I got from the whole Q/A session is that lotro will largely remain the same as it is.

    They said no in the stream (now on youtube to rewatch), but transcripts cost time/money. Though Cord mentioned the youtube auto caption file might be useful (we cant pull that though)

    What I really would like to see is expanding the use of the collections tab/pop up UI and adding wardrobe to that.

    1. Add a wardrobe tab with cosmetic sets in the game that unlock once the player adds them to the collections
    2. Make mounts, pets, housing items, and wardrobe sets account wide (would definitely pay for this feature). I will never buy a cosmetic item from the store if it isn't account wide.

    Urge you to make a free account on SWTOR.com, make a character, then look at the robust system they have for your collections, allowing you to recreate an account bound item that you have unlocked at any time.
