Mini, LM, rk use TDR which is approximately 4x on new LI vs old LI. Or THR for healing. So, yes, TDR=caster dps. my 80 rk saw a doubling on tooltip damage when switching to a new LI with no traceries. With a mix of yellow/purple (and no heraldries) I saw a tripling of tooltip damage to the point ceaseless was doing 100% of a normal mob damage with each hit.

You're missing the point. I'm not interested in running with a bare LI even if it works. It's just asinine that it's the current 'recommended' way to play for low-level players.

Sure, if you're focused only on getting to 'endgame', sure, have at it, have fun, all that, but, no, that destroys immersion and fun for me. No playing that way for me.

Cord, is it an oversight that lower level players can't travel to the Hall of Vernozal for the missions? The stable is greyed out and requires mithril currently. Since riding there is not a solution for them and joining the Allegiance doesn't teleport to Prince Ingor I was hoping the mission stable would be unlocked.

What are the players still in Moria supposed to do if they don't have infused gems, since they don't drop now?

I was waiting for reward track, but I can't advance LIs with IXP runes, obviously.

Ok no problem on the justified call out over the use of "many", but the intention is indeed all. If we missed something, let us know. I am sure we are not done with Legendary Item UI, but that work will have to be released when it is ready.

Just to be clear on the new LI system and these runes...are we meant to just store them somewhere for now?
I am still holding a bunch of things from the old system because we were told we'd be able to do something with them. Inventory was already an issue and it is only getting worse.

I don't think JEHR's answer was missing the point with respect to comparing damage of old vs. new LIs.

I think you shifted goalposts but I definitely agree that it is quite a bit more boring now to have an LI in Moria than before.

I hope they do fix the infused gems drops in Moria rather quickly even if the drop rate would be lower than before. Waiting until Enedwaith to get traceries unless you run school/lib on new toons is not too much fun.

Or have the reward track done (although I am not putting a lot of hope into it with respect to needed grind to get something out of it)


Overall in Moria I usually did not care about my legacies much although piercing cry damage and light damage were definitely the ones I wanted most.

And the fact that the reward track is not available yet and the LI system is incomplete is a big factor in my not buying Gundabad yet and largely playing other games until I see what develops with this.

Why would anyone go to customer Support because an in game item isn't dropping? Moria LI resource dungeons require one of these items for entry, but the game doesn't provide the items anymore.

Example: Quest: Instance - The Ghost Forge.
Take an Infused Sapphire to Fastarr in Dolven View to accept and enter instance.

Oops! infused Sapphires have been removed from the game.

It must be the usual lack of context. You still believe a CM is paid to be a conduit between them and us, but how can they without understanding our experiences and the systems that SSG implement. He can't even give us an assessment of his Valar experience because he lacks the context of playing the game through to the end-game with fully functioning ILIs; the common damage component the most obvious sign that these quests were never seen as being of any importance. As they were our first introduction of weapon titles and selection of specific damage types they were of huge importance. Any who ignored them just their own folly. And if we'd had a CM who hadn't avoided so much we'd not have so many following his lead and failing at ILIs and needing this new system kick up the #### to get them in-line and on the grind with us.

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt about it. Obviously, if that's all the blue CM cares about is to say something so absurd in response, then I'm playing the wrong game.

I already cancelled VIP and turned in a refund for Gundabad, and deleted the game from my hard drive.

It's become glaringly obvious that if you're not max level where they can milk you for money, they don't care about you at all.

EDIT: Yes a week ago I was defending them, sure they'd deliver the reward track so we could continue on, and instead, I highlighted an issue, and got a stupid response from the CM, as if CS would be handing out gems that aren't dropping. Just a 'go to your room you're bothering me!' response, really.

I think the Blues are all suffering from stress and an increasing number of their responses are showing it. In Cordovan's defence in the infused gem situation, he isn't very familiar with the way that part of Moria works. Should he have tried to get some more information before responding, yes, but his response doesn't feel flippant or negative in any way. Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is a video game. Take a deep breath, let them know where the problems are, and let them fix it.
