Just looking at the Twitch stats for the game (not the LOTROstream channel), we had more than 85,000 unique viewers over the past 30 days watching LOTRO and more than 52,000 hours were watched. That's not nothing! And there are some genuine communities there as well, people hanging out in chat and in-game. Overall, it's a good place to be.
What I am seeing a lot of is people either coming to Lotro for the first time or returning after a long time away. They are looking through Twitch to find Lotro streams where they can learn about or update their understanding of the game by watching.

It's pretty exciting having a new player to Lotro chatting in the stream asking questions. I try to give them as much help as possible.

I do wish there was something I could give them to help them out as new or returning players. Maybe if there was a code or something we could have limited supply to that we could give out on our streams, that would be pretty cool.

Cord has said before that if you are hosting a public event, he can give you a few giveaway codes for 100 LP or whatever. I'd send him a PM and see what he can do.

He gave away a few Gundabad expansions not long after it launched.

It should be noted that not everyone with 2 humans and a duck viewing will get promotion codes, but if you have a sizable audience, and your stream is a good watch without too much swearing for everyone..... i think you can certainly talk to Cordovan and see if you can promote some things. But he isn't going to do that for streamers with <10 viewers I think.
What did the duck ever do to you?! He isn't hurting anyone, just wants to see some hobbit action

With the time to dig deeper into the personal channels the stock company message of the officials can be lost. I like to seek out those no views and have the privilege of being the first or only. When no one is listening seems you reveal what you'd otherwise only talk to a therapist about. Just the videos ofc, never live. Better might be when just one is flagged as in the channel so there is a one to one interaction in play, like listening to a couple at the next table in a restaurant without needing to seem like you aren't.

The most revealing ones when the streamer takes to twitch after some rl setback and the vail drops utterly. Then don't remember to delete the videos! Then you really get their measure. Followers none the wiser, "Good Streaming"? Duped "community" all eager to rush to defend. But some with a massive following and millions coming in admitting contempt for most of their followers will have all of them exempting themselves from that section of followers.

    Flock mentality.

P.S. But hiding amongst the innocent majority.
