Talisman of the Blood Raven

Hi, sorry, am brand new here and trying to get used to some of the rules and stuff for the game but have searched for info on this and all I keep finding is what it is.

Anyway, I have the talisman but it says that it grants an apprentice jeweler the..... well whatever it says it's obvious that it's for a jeweler and I'm not a jeweler. So can I give it to a jeweler and then they give it back? Do I have to give it to another player because I've tried walking up to a NPC jeweler in the game and that isn't working.

I'm sorry I'm a bit behind on everything but am having fun playing a LM so far. I'm level 12 and yet to die despite all the doom and gloom I read about them not being a great class for a beginner or weak when they start.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm sure I have a million more questions but they're not coming to me right now.

Yes, what you have is called a recipe. If you aren't into crafting things yourself and dont want to roll a jeweler then find someone who is a jeweler that can make it for you.

So basically this is how crafting works:
raw materials + recipe +correct craft profession + proper tools + proper work station = Finished product.

In this case what you would end up with is a talisman that you use like a consumable that permantely upgrades your raven pet to an "improved version"

As to the lore master being a poor starter class it is. It is def still playable etc, but it is harder to play just starting compared to say a champion especially if you don't have a good grasp of MMO and class mechanics. Level a champ to 12 and see how much different the class is.

I rolled (I'm guessing that means chose - sorry, new to MMO's as well and learning the lingo) an explorer because it seemed best suited to the LM.

So I guess I'll try and find a jeweler somewhere in the game and see if he can help me out.
