I haven't had too much time to explore it, but I'm enjoying the new Lorebook format. quite a bit. I'm especially glad that the menus are drop-down now, so that they don't cause unnecessary javascript lag.

DYMongoose
mmm.. I'm seeing MoM content in there. Sweet....
I'm having a bit harder time finding things than I used to, but that's just a matter of where buttons have moved to.
Yes, very nice work and much appreciated. I enjoy the game immensely, but these additional bonuses are nice to have.
Did anybody actually test this with firefox ?
The layout seems completely broken - with the content appearing below the left hand menus.
Edit: turned of Java, leaving javascript enabled and it seems much better.

tried looking for the category of item advancement, couldnt find it. did a search on it, nothing came back...however I am using mozilla is that the problem....
thanks in advance
ok will wait, yeah figured that perhaps patience jumped the gun with the post as most of the links listed go to empty pages. I was hoping it was just a , "sorry nope we only work with IE situation", will happily wait.
thanks for the reply
I'd love to access trat sets. For now there was only Traits search, but no "Sets" category. That is while Lorebook was accessible.
Still down. But before it was down, I had a couple issues. I could search for javelins and warden shields, but there were no item categories for them. Also, the crafted recipes for those new items had no end product tooltips, only the recipe itself. So you could see what you needed to make them, but not what they made. The pages for the crafted items themselves were blank.
Arda Shrugged : Elendilmir (RIP) -> Arkenstone -> Anor (RIP) -> Landroval -> Treebeard
Crafted recipe:
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...e_Elven_Knight
But no info on the crafted products:
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...e_Elven_Knight
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...e_Elven_Knight
Also, I can't provide a link, but there are still no categories in the drop-down menu for Warden's Shields (under Shields), Javelins (under Ranged Weapons), or Rune-stones (under Two-handed Weapons).
Arda Shrugged : Elendilmir (RIP) -> Arkenstone -> Anor (RIP) -> Landroval -> Treebeard
I'll look into this further.
I have linked menu items directly to the category pages for these until I can get the proper advanced search hooks in place. This will at least get something in place for this info. Also, I can't provide a link, but there are still no categories in the drop-down menu for Warden's Shields (under Shields), Javelins (under Ranged Weapons), or Rune-stones (under Two-handed Weapons).
Stay tuned!
the advanced search for recipes has check boxes for tiers 1-5 but not 6:
http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Speci...ch?type=recipe
the lorebook entries for crafting guild recipes do not have any indication that they are guild only. Also, they don't list the cooldown on the recipe use: (for example)
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...uperior_Lembas
or here http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/..._Lembas_Recipe
related to the above, other rep gated recipes don't list that (either for the recipe or for the item use - unless these have changed in Moria): (for example)
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...jokoira_Armour
or here http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/..._Armour_Recipe
too many to link, but many many t6 crafting recipes list mats and end products but do not have a tooltip to display the information for the item: (for example)
http://lorebook.lotro.com/index.php/...-rose_Necklace
One beef I still have with the lorebook, that I had hoped would be changed in the new lorebook, is the lack of separation between jewellry pieces. Earrings, necklaces, pocket items, bracelets, and rings are still just being clumped into the 'Jewellry' category instead of being separated out into their own sub-categories. It doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to set up separate tables for these; the current implementation is madness to try and search through!
Are there any plans to change this?

OK; trait sets are finally in. Apologies for the wait; you'll find a link in the menu to them "Game Info >>> Character Attributes >>> Trait Sets" or just jump to them now.
I can't speak for the other professions but, for Weaponsmith at least, the only recipes/tooltips I can find on the lorebook for Tier 6 are the Guild rewards (i.e. legendary items and the Peerless Thain's ensured-crit recipies). There's nothing I can find for the Warrior's, Sellsword's, Thain's etc. weapons that you either get just from opening up Tier 6 or that you track down from drops.
Duckthelion of Gondor - Lore-Master : Blender McBwaaahaha - Champion : Stairway Denied - Minstrel : Duckwulf the Defiant - Captain: Sworded - Rank 6 Reaver : All on Gladden.
Duckthelion may be a truly powerful master of ancient lore and a scholar of high repute, but can HE figure out how they cram all that gram into Golden Grams?
If it is Tier 6 and a weapon (and not a crafted legendary item), it is not there. This includes:
"Sellsword's _____"
"Warrior's ______"
"Defender's _____"
"Thain's _____"
where "_____" = Axe, Sword, Mace, Dagger, Headsman's Axe, Greatsword, or Halberd.
It is of note that there ARE "Peerless Thain's ____" recipes, but these are the special rep reward ones, not the standard ones. I've found that Woodworker is missing all of it's non-legendary Tier 6 weapons also, but I don't have a woodworker myself so I couldn't tell you the missing item names.
The same is KIND of true of the Tier 6 jewelry. The recipes are there, in this case, but there is no information about the items they produce (i.e. no tooltips). This includes:
"Aquamarine ____"
"Dawn-Rose _____"
"Khazad-copper _____"
"Khazad-gold ____"
where "_____" = Bracelet, Earring, Rune-stone, Necklace, or Ring.

None of the Item Experience runes are in the lore book, or at least I could not fund them. I searched for "Faded Heritage Rune" with no luck.

It seems like the stats for a lot of items are off a little. Some examples are Cururist and Amber Ring:
http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Weapon:Cururist - this should be 47.0 dps rather than 40.6
http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Item:Amber_Ring - the +36 will and vit should be +38
Those are two off the top of my head, but I'm sure nearly everything I've looked up has been "off" a little like these.
Bootz Axe, Dwarf Minstrel, Hobbitual, Landroval
