Ugh, I could never be a DC (Damage Controlman). In boot camp we did our basic firefighting and it SUCKS. I guess it's different when your on a Cutter and all the compartments are so small / compact and you have to crouch with 80lbs on your back everywhere ;/.

Weve had our moments, in a crawl space usually, what most people dont expet, the probies, the greenhorns, is its broad daylight, 12 noon. A fire hits, we suit up and show up, pack on our back tools in our hands ready to go. The mask is on, we are on full air. Have to crawl in because smoke is banked down to the floor, which means that there was no place for the smoke to go so its just filled the room entirely and its black. This isnt backdraft the movie, in reality you cant see your hand in front of your face. Crawling around blind with your eyes open and 100 pounds of gear on ya! They freak. Youre bangin into furniture and all kinds of things. You can tell becasue you can hear them puffin air. Its like Darth Vadar hyperventilating.

k here you goes. I'm a n00ber, but I figured I'd throw myself to the wolves anyway. I work at a Help Desk, so naturally, I have nothing to do all day but take pictures of myself...I'm not vain, I swear! It's just that there's nothing else that's more interesting than myself here at work. I r ossm.

The funniest ever, true story, single family dwelling, a working structure fire which we made our initial attack on the inside and just couldnt stop the head of the fire. The hook and ladder do their work by cutting the roof and are starting to dump 1800 gpm on this fire through the roof. The operator of the pump on the ladder truck was new and had the engine pressure cranked. The water shot out of the bucket, down through this house and shot the bathroom toilet out the window into the neighbors yard LMAO. I only laff about it because it was later deemed to be arson. The owner of the house ndispute with the spouse and thought that was a good way to end it. So its their own fault their home was destroyed not only by fire, but by water too.

Sadly there are no photos of this flying crapper.

Take a look at a few of the Brandywine threads like the Brandy wine oeverepopuleatieon or the Morning Coffee (WITH Donuts) and Chat for two examples of the Brandywino sense of humor and to meet the Brandywine Populs. The first link above is VERY long so you may want to just skim it to get an idea (warning! may be detrimental to your mental health!).

As for your friends, all are invited. Just let me know if you're interested and I'll meet with you and your cohorts ingame. And if not, there are many good Kinships on Brandywine so I'm sure you'll find a good home. But look me up anyway sometime and say Hi!

Dude, seriously, some of the calls I take.... Jesus, it scares me that some of these people are responsible for stuff they put in space! I can't name the company I work for, but they make chemicals. They handle explosive/combustible chemicals, carcinogens, and God knows what else. But I swear, this is God's honest truth, some of the people I talk to HAVE NEVER ever used the shift key on their keyboard...in their life.

The ones who use a capital letter use the Caps Lock key, then type the letter, and then turn Caps Lock back off.

Recently, we changed our password policy to require special symbols like the #, $, %, &, etc. Forget about it. It's sad that I have to explain to some people how to use the Shift key. And then I have to explain why there's 2 of them, and what the difference is ("One of them is on the left, the other is on the right....that it!")
