Two questions about MoM CD key & referrals

A friend and I were looking to purchase this game, and we were wondering if the following CD key to buy MoM for $30 is legit? We both could swear we saw the link for it here at the official site, but we wanted to make sure. This is the link where the key is at: http://onlinecdkey.com/index/lord-ri...ria-p-219.html

Also, we both each have a founder's referral, and we were wondering if we took a break from the game for a little while and came back, would we still have the $10/month sub or would it revert to the $15/mo sub?

    Thanks in advance
    Jet.

    Welcome to Lotro

I have never used that site, no idea if it's legit or not - but I can tell you that most boxed versions of MoM are about $30 in the stores. For some reason, the digital download from the official Turbine site is higher - $40 iirc. If you have doubts about the online site, most chain stores, including K-mart, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc carry the game. I prefer the hardcopy code personally, so I would get the box if I were you.

Yes, you will lose your founders pricing if you let the sub lapse. The only exception to that is the lifetime option (if referrals get that) because, obviously, it's lifetime

While Turbine does offer special deals every once in a while, it's not enough to rely on.

That site is primarily for players in the UK and other parts of the world where they are unable to purchase MoM through "standard" channels.
Yes, it's legit, but if you're in North America, I suggest using a standard channel and saving their services for those who truly need them.

I'm reasonably certain you'd keep the founder's pricing, but I'm certainly not the expert.

Re: Two questions about MoM CD key & referrals

The only official ways to buy a key online are:

    - directly from Turbine on the Account Management page via the red 'Buy Now' button
-from the Turbine store (oceanic version especially) which can be found here

If you have any special pricing plan, including Founder's referral, and you cancel, you will lose access to that plan. If you later reinstate, you will have access to whatever plans are available at that time.
