(also posted in General Gameplay) I've created a map for the new Spring Festival Maze. Hope you find it helpful. Also, please let me know if I've left anything out (i.e. missed a chicken, etc.)

Sigh!
Seriously, why don't you guys go ebay and purchase some geared characters. It's a festival for goodness sakes, it's about fun and games.
/grumbles about today's gaming generation.
Actually, it was rather fun to map out the maze myself, then create it in photoshop. I did it for my own reference after having already done the quests. I went ahead and posted it for those who were having trouble. It's like the new quest tracker: no one's forcing anyone to use it.
My apologies to you. It is fun to create a map. Reminds me way back when I would try to map out the mazes of Wizardy I on my apple IIe.
Great memories.
Now back to the thread responders: Your reactions make you seem like you are subscribing to lotro and would rather have the spoils handed to you. It's really not that difficult - and yes it took me multiple runs. PLAY the GAME.
I did do the quests without the map, and did reasonably well, I suppose. And if this were a permanent feature of the game, I probably wouldn't need/want a map.
But occupying brain cells with twists and turns that will be meaingless a week or two from now. ... Meh ... I have better things to worry about.
Blur Question - What Spring festival?
Am I missing something?
Oh, look at Mr. Judgmental. I suppose others using the map somehow lessons your enjoyment of the festival? If not then move along please.
For myself, I add a huge THANK YOU to list of grateful players. If my real life sense of direction could be measured I expect it’d come out in the negatives. Sadly, this translates very well into game. This is the reason I’ve left over half of Moria unexplored and am likely never to see it. If it wasn’t for the crafting instances, at least two of which are somewhere in Moria I’ve not yet been, and the LI instances I’d be very happy to never set foot in Moria ever again.
I tried the maze and even without being drunk I was hopelessly lost. Once I drank from the keg it was beyond hopeless. Thanks to the map I can now enjoy trying to stumble my way through the maze in time to complete the quest instead of giving up in frustration. So please excuse me for enjoying myself. I’ll try not to let it happen again.
Half of being clever is making certain you are not being stupid.
Calabar:65 Hunter – Ullrick:65 Hunter – Farli:65 Minstrel – Raedan:65 Champion – Garrian:65 Captain – Karzack:65 Rune-Keeper
Im only gonna use it for the inn league quest, its hard enough trying to get out in under 3 minutes let alone hammered and stumbling. lol
Which reminds me, which is easier? Going out the back way or back out the in (for the drunken stumble)?

Would it have bothered you so much if he created the map himself? This simply a game, how someone plays it makes to difference no me. If they want to use a map that is their choice. They are not breaking any rules, unless they updated the EULA during the patch. Because I don't recall anywhere it saying that you are not allowed to use a map such as this. The fact that you compare this to buying a level 60 character and even to real life is absurd. It just goes to show you are doing nothing more then trolling and imposing your opinion of how a game should be played.
I'll make you a deal, if you pay for everyone's subscription that thanked the OP for the map then we'll not use the map and play the way you think it should...If not drop the subject and allow people to play the game as they see fit.
Grodo, why dont you just let people play the game how they want instead of trying to be game-police? Sound good?
If we want to use a map after the first few tries/runs, or heck, even for the first quest, its our choice. When you pay me 200$ for my subscription. You can tell me what to do.
Otherwise put a sock in it.
Thank you, now go play the game.

cmon, have you guys tried to follow the left wall to find the way out? when in a maze pick a wall and follow that to find the way out of it, any maze.

Ah, that I didnt know... I just figured the back way was easiest, since the Sinister Center is set up to allow you to collect the keg and then stumble drunkenly out th eback way. hehe

Lemme take a WILD guess... you were one of the ones who was getting upset about the quest arrow, weren't ya?
I'll never understand the "need" some people feel to control how others play a video game.
I haven't looked at the map yet but it's nice to know one is there if I want it. Since Grodo doesn't control my LOTRO account, I'm free to reference the map if I so desire.![]()
Arkenstone
Homer - min
Goo - burg
Boppa - brawler
I don't think I'll be using this (it's fun feeling like a rat), but it's nice to get a top view to see what I've been through. Thanks.
And very nice looking, too.
I cant believe people actually need a map for this. I found the maze to be on the very easy side of things, as far as mazes go. Theres a pattern in where you have to go, and they even gave you the halfway checkpoint of the tired drunks in the center.
