Interesting... many think trolls are unintelligent, but since this troll can actually say a few words... it's less unintelligent than the standard troll. Many mistake this troll’s inability to communicate well as a sign of low intelligence, but they do not take into account that trolls as a species rarely even possess the power of speech
Does that imply that trolls really don't have "low intelligence"?

I'm the leader of The Haruchai and the Elohim, an Arkenstone kin which has been around since June 2007.
Contact me if interested in a fun Arkenstone kin. :)
Bert, Tom, and William could talk, but I wouldn't necessarily call them "intelligent".
Does this second Moors Feedback focus mean we will be having some new MP features or possibly a new area coming soon? If so, you have my attention...
Been kicking around since 2008... Better days...:)
Better topic yet...
When is Turbine going to actually make some improvements on PvP, rather than giving us PvP Lore which makes very little difference if any to the PvPers of this game.
Why does Turbine insist on highlighting Ettenmoors areas, when they fail to properly care for and upkeep the area in general.
1) The allowance of Multi-Boxing in PvP. Turbine considers this unsportsmanly, yet says it's completely legal and therefore allows it to ruin PvP, because it's more paid accounts for Turbine.
2) Moors NPC's bug out on both sides more than ever. It has been ticketed and bug reported over and over. More hotfixes come, and no improvement what so ever.
3) LAG LAG LAG The Moors needs to be a seperate server. On highly populated servers, players can't even do 1v1s without lagging out.
4) Transfer regulation should be capped. Too many transfers on either side can ruin the PvP balance. Turbine needs to regulate PvP transfers.
5) Pots / Barter / Armour - When are players going to see PvP related items, at PvP vendors, that are actually level 60 appropriate? Why are Freeps side vendors still selling level 50 rank 4 +400 morale/power pots? Seriously, most players are 4.5K +. We want better comsumables. Where is the improved PvP armour? The purple level 60 set is a very, very poor immitation of the MoM gear, not even worth looking at, let alone grinding for.
6) When are players going to see a new PvP zone? It was hinted at back before Moria, and here we are 2 years down the road still playing on the same map with very little changes at all.
7) DP is heavily reduced on Freep side. Why should one faction recieve 2k dp for taking a keep, while there opponets only recieve 500 dp? Freeps have just as much use for DP as Creeps, the DP should be the same.
8) GV chests are still worthless, 500s at best, a few level 51 pots, and maybe a 1 in 10 chance of getting a level 53 second age.
9) Freeps still have repairs in the Moors. WHY? PvP does not effect repairs, but fighting in keeps, bridges, and other NPC areas still inflict repairable damage on players. This needs to be fixed. We should not have to pay to play PvP, since Turbine insists on having NPC's in the Moors.
I could go on with this list, but quite frankly it will make little difference. Turbine doesn't seem to care about the Moors, except to make a Lorebook highlight every once in a while. It's like slapping PvPer's and saying, "Hey look here's the Tyrant lore. Things are badly broken in the Moors, but everything is working as intended. So enjoy your read about the Tyrant."
I'd gladly give up the PvP Lore, to have a dedicated team of devs actually improve the Ettenmoors area for both sides.
When are you devs gonna get off your butts and fix the moors? who cares about npcs? What a joke seriously i cant wait for swtor im so outta here. Ive played this game since beta and the moors has had very little done to except more pve into a pvp zone. There is no dev that plays in the moors if theres a dev out there atm that really does he/she should be seriously fired or given a citation at the least.
Id like to know who the genius is who keeps giving uncureable nonsense and creating flavor of the month OP class and ruining the moors? Oh look they made ba dot cureable but the next 25 arent woohoo oh now we have spiders who throw acid how cool lets all ditch our ba's and roll spiders now. Seriously how clueless do u have to be?
You want a lore book entry for the moors here it is
the ettenmoors a lagged out zone where your lucky if u move when u hit w. Flavor of the month OP classes are the norm so if your not into 112 BA's and 500 spiders both dotting you death while u try to get 1 hit on them then this is pvp for you!!!
The moors has changed very little since beta more pve has been introduced into a "pvmp" zone worthless lego outpost have been put in for creeps to "pve" 24/7
There is very little incentive for freeps to pvp. The ettenmoors armor is cloned moria gear with ****** stats. Since the devs are lazy and dont care about the ettenmoors this is the reality. Rank means nothing. The chests are somewhat better but still a joke overall
The jewellery is subpar hasnt been updated like the armor or much else really.
6 boxing is allowed in pvp since the person pays for 6 accounts theyre welcome to ruin the pvp on either side enjoy!!
Depending on server youll have to deal with transfers who are rejects and come to your server to give everyone the junk they didnt want on the previous server. Yes there are decent transfers but turbine has no transfer screening service or take into consideration the population of the said server.
The population buff is a broken mechanic has never worked right and continues to be manipulated by players
Less lore book and more development. Put that in your lore book thats the truth.

Yup, I'm sure Clover will put on her dev hat and get right on that. Because you know, the million other PvP posts aren't enough. You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?
Anyhow, yes things need a'fixin, but the person who writes up these fun little storys is not the same person that develops the game it's amazing how much trouble people have figuring that out.

yeah they keep putting lore over and over and expecting people to ignore the moors and be excited about a useless npc go figure.Next hoardale norbogs!! let the discussion begin. Meanwhile "hey i cant get my manheal off" "please dont use march of the ents it lags us out" LOL
Once again...
Person who write lore snippits is completely seperate from the person who write the code for the game. In fact I'm willing to bet that the person who writes these little snippits has nothing to do with actual game development. Just like Clover's job is to manage the forum community which includes posting fluff like this little story.
So in essence posting PvMP complaints in this thread is the equivalent to barking up the wrong tree.

whats the difference lol.
Hah, I like these little articles.
I'm pretty sure I have a SS somewhere of this guy having an epic dual with Goldhead.
In fact, I also have several of him sitting in the corner of the room throwing boulders at the freeps as we all fought on top of eachother inside TR. He's one cool troll!
I appreciate the lore snippets about the moors NPCs. It's a bit of internal promotion of the PvP system and shows that Turbine at least knows it exists.

look, the ettenmoors aren't really there for hardcore pvp. yeah, its a bit messed up, but i go there anyways, even if i'm not playing WOW-stranded pvp. the moors are just for a bit of a break from the RP side of things, though i must admit that it does need a bit of improvement.

I used to love the moors, until turbine swept it under the rug. I'm pretty sure this bit of advertising was an accident, as John Mcenroe would say, "they can't be serious."

My beef with Taskmaster Nursufum is that he cannot be pulled to attack keeps, enlisted as a pet, or encited to head up to Ost and wreak havoc. Devs, please allow us to do more with NPCs to even the playing field when one side is outnumbered. It would be cool to see a living battlefield alive with small skirmishes of good v evil, and greater world-wide incentives for all players tied to the Moors.
Or just delete all the NPC's and let us fight it out.

This taskmaster is one of my favorites. To I often make it a point to stop by his corner when the flag is red at TR. His encyclopedic knowledge of the area and it's wildlife and fauna makes a most excellent way to pass the time. He is congenial, witty, well-traveled, and a snappy dresser.
