Vol 1 Book 3 - Quest Level Question

Hey guys, I’ve got a question.

I was a previous player back in 2008 but left right after MoM came out. I’m now back with a fresh new game card and am trying to wrap my head around the crazy amount of changes this game has undergone. Here’s my dilemma:

I have “Vol 1 – Book 3 – Forward” outstanding in my quest journal but the quest is Red to me and says it will take level 34 to complete…one of my friends that plays said they lowered the level requirement for this, and other book quests, during my away time. Should I be trying to complete this quest? Or should I just leave it until level 34. I’m just not sure if my quest log is updated with the new changes.

I hope someone knows what I’m talking about because I loved the book quests when I played and it seems like there is a big gap between level 28 and 34 to get another chapter started. Perhaps I’m wrong and that’s the case but I thought I’d see if any more experienced players knew first.

Generally if they have changed a quest in a significant way they make you go get it again... since you still have it you could go back to the original quest giver, cancel it and re-obtain it and see if changes the level otherwise I personally would wait until the quest is orange and not red before attempting it.

The book 3 forward actually went up in level. It was 30 and became 34. The other quests in that book were also increased to that level range.
