    Wrist Jewelry

I currently have two peerless turtle bracelets equipped (the uber ones with the 5% devastate magnitude). Given the current crop of wrist lpieces, does anyone recommend anything different? Are people finding other combinations better? I currently have just over 5K morale and over 3K power. AGI stands at 632 unbuffed. I am trying to figure out if I should be looking for new wrist pieces or stay with what I have. (My thoughts are to not change anything), but I am open to thoughts.......
Second question, do the bracelets stack? Or did I waste money on the second one for nuffin'?

The buff on the Peerless Turtle-Shell Bracelets doesn't stack with itself, but having two will increase your chance to proc the buff and keep it up longer.

I rock two because I'm not hurting for Morale solo; in raids one of them usually comes out for a Cuff. Glowing Aureate is good too.

(And it's not +% crit chance, it's +Devastate Magnitude, so your Dev crits do more damage, they won't crit more often.)

Go two glowing A. Bracelets of Morale. Or at least sub one of the turtle bracelets for one. The older bracelets were a little better (they had +20 Fate as opposed to +20 Might).

I'd say that you'd want a swap out item for grouping with a Captain. You're wasting a fair bit of stats by being at 632 Agility when you only need 600 + IDOME to cap. Personally, I'd go get [armour]Saelchol[/armour] off the first boss in Warg Pens instead of swapping bracelets. It's a much bigger swing in useful stats than changing to a Glowing Aureate bracelet. Compared to your current gear you'd get the following by changing.

Glowing Aureate: -Will (ack!), -Agility (can spare), -Buff; +Morale, +Might (don't care).
    Saelchol: -Might (don't care), -Agility (can spare in a group), -Evade (don't care in a group); +Will, +Fate, +Morale (woo x 3).

For solo you could just stay as you are. The extra Agility will be used and you'll keep the buff up longer with 2 Turtle bracelets than one. Unless you're having trouble soloing anything you don't need to sit around with extra unneeded Morale.

PS: When you go get that cloak be sure to beat hard mode for a chance at [item]Curugor[/item]. It's a better ring for a Hunter than [item]Toringor[/item].

    Re: Wrist Jewelry

I remember the days of running Determination + Tolerance, in SoA, for the agi alone...

but agi is so ridiculously easy to get now that for a grouping hunter, we should be looking for ways to dump agi in favor of other, more beneficial things (icpr/morale/powah/etc). I wear [item]Gem Studded Bracelet[/item] which only exacerbates the problem... it's the biggest ICPR boost I have found on an item (nearly 100 ICPR plus 22 Fate...) but leaves me with nutso levels of agi.

I do wear another Peerless Turtle-Shell on the other wrist (until I can get the [item]Bracelet of the Tower[/item]... 2 hunters in kin already have the thing...) since the overall stats are decent and I enjoy having a decent power pool. I am a power black hole, even in precision, and I'll take all the help I can get.

tl;dr Peerless Turtle Shell is a very nice piece if you can afford the morale hit vs. other pieces. There are a number of options out there and no clear "best" - the +70 pieces make for an interesting way to min/max, as they're often loaded with one or two stats rather than three to five. Just don't waste IDOME if you're with a captain - if you're at 630 to start, you'd be better served dumping the 30 agi (which could be as simple as unslotting Determination) and filling that hole with vit or will or fate. Just not might. We have enough of that anyway.

How do you farm WP? Do you have a healer and tank friend that like to come with you over and over? For whatever reason I have the absolute worst time in the warg pens. I really want to get through it but haven't found the right combo of people to go with me yet.

    - Find tank and healer friends.
    - Buy everyone a stack of Poison, Wound, and Fear potions.
    - Start running WP until you get the bracelet.
    - Refill your friend's potion stacks as needed. Spam your Cure Poison skill to save on expenses.

Tank is a flexible term. I've tanked it on my Guardian, and I've had Champs and Wardens tank it. I even wound up tanking it one night with my Burglar.

Healer is also flexible. I've done it with Minstrel, RK, and Captain healers. Your Captain needs to be pretty solid (and Hands of Healing traited) if he's the only healer but it's quite doable.

Your job as a Hunter will be to DPS; on the final boss you will be tanking all the little Wargs, getting them to eat, then killing 'em while the healer+tank hold the boss still. Carry lots of potions, read scrolls, and stack up as much morale and melee defense as you can. You want to minimize the burden you put on the healer as you deal with the little wargs.

I don't use the peerless turtle braclets on my hunter because you have to get hit by something to have a chance to get the buff from them. Whether I'm solo or in a group, I try not to get hit on my hunter so I don't see the benefit of them. However, my Warden gets smacked around all the time and he wears two of them. The agility helps his javelin skills and he gets the buff in almost every fight, even against normals.

I have alot of healer friends and I ran it with my kinship leader, she is a guardian
I try running it with another hunter and champ...bad idea lol. Good DPS but no healer lol..
I think the worst idea was running with an all LM SG run lol...

    Re: Wrist Jewelry

I usually run the WP with a burg tanking, minnie or RK, and myself(hunter). I have found having a burg in most of the BG instances being a better tank, even in the SH and dungeons. Heck we have 2 burgs in our kin that duo SH all the time.

    Re: Wrist Jewelry

There are alot of options here, w/ a variety of options pending your other jewelry and current task.

I use dual insids (still) for my solo build, but that's b/c of my other solo gear. In groups, I use two (older) aureautes for the bit-o-AGI but w/ strong morale/fate/icpr. I would swap one for a Gem Studded from BG should I get it, and take a morale hit for the enhanced flexibility for (certain) group content unlike to have AoE clusterfraks. I doubt I'll ever swap the second in a group, the combination of AGI/Fate/ICPR w/ MORALE is hard to beat. And that's one of my issues w/ the 70/65 AGI bracelets - the lack of morale is bittersweet, indeed.

I think it's *very* important to keep overall morale in mind for some of the more difficult content. There are agro resets, there are AoEs. I always cap AGI, but I am always mindful of my overall morale.

Pro-tip: Read up on the instance before you do it, and know when and when you can't give up a few things to maximize throughput.

I have tanked the warg pens... especially the last boss. We had a LM and it only made sense since I could cure poision, the LM cured wounds on me and the guard took on the mobs while I helped with dps when I could. It was fast and suprisingly gave me a new perspective on what I can do as a hunter when needed. Only two pots were used when I came a little too close to the 1k mark.
