If I were a GM, I'd just say at the start of the fight, "we are doing this the right way, no exploits." That way I'd save myself the headache and set a good example![]()
As for GM sightings. Yeah, seeing on visible is like catching a glimpse of Nessie (or Chessie, or Champ, etc).![]()

Vilya's Ambassador of Happiness, Goodwill, and Fuzzy Kittens' and Somesuch!
I had a problem that involved a few of my characters. So I had a kind but invisible GM hanging out at the Michel Delving vault master for a bit as I logged each character in for a fix. Hurray for GMs that fix my broken characters.

Haven't heard about a GM place in Lotro, but UO certainly had one. The GM's and counselors had a jail/ prison that they would use. If someone was out of line, they would port them there, and sometimes would actually "sentence" violators to having to be in the jail unable to leave for a certain amount of game time (neat variation on the ban).
I found one image of it.Hope that works. There are others out there.

The only time I saw a GM was during the attack of the hackers (people pretending to be GM asking for your account user name and password) and gold sellers in Meneldor (the same guys spamming Bree channel), this summer. The second day, a +gm was running inside bree as a giant chicken banning the gold seller as soon as they popped a message on bree and bree-land channel. Was kinda funny.

I had a nice experience with a GM as well.
Playing on Gladden, I did The Way of The Smiths and the Deep Way quests many times using the reflection pool. At that time I did not know I had to actually take the quest inorder to get credit for completing it.
I filed a standard assist ticket.
Within minutes a GM appeared.
He/she were very calm in "voice", nice to talk to and it felt like they knew what I was struggling with.
After the GM investigated he or she explained in great details why I should take the quest to get credited for it.
I'm a veteran at MMO's and I must admit I never had a more pleasant experience with a GM and a lightning-fast reply.
Kudos Turbine!
I really miss ~+Amarthiel sightings in the Moors
wtb more random stuff like that. that's the kind of stuff that provides a change from the constant grind
I can't believe nobody has figured out yet that they all hang out at Chotchkie's

That link will also answer the question above as well.![]()
It's links like that that make me wish I was going for programming instead of networking.....
I'll have my CCNP cert in a year...maybe you should add a new in-house data center so you can hire me to run the network!
(Or, just figure out a way to hire me as a GM, remotely, so I don't have to move to MA)
