BP is Champion Rift dyed navy.
Gloves are Champion Rift dyed burgundy.
Legs are some light armour piece dyed burgundy.
Boots are Champion Rift dyed navy.
Cloak is a plain cloak dyed black.


Would look much different on a human.

It is the level 65, rank 4 Ettenmoors armor for Captains (the Guardian and Champion breastplates share the same graphic). It's a heavy armor piece, not a robe. And I LOVE it.

The other pieces are the Survivor of the Watcher helm and the Daerdur armor from Angmar. The chest is called Breastplate of the Officer.

Rift is a level 50 raid (12 people). It is occasionally run by higher level players for a quest and for the gear sets for cosmetic us. Keep an eye out on your local GLFF channels for invites.

thanks a lot man, i will look for this GLFF channel, though im guessing im a wee to low to go on such a raid. I really appreciate everyones help though you all are most kind, makes me even more happy i came to this game now the community is great

My LM. Mostly just cosmetics all dyed white with the Dwarf Circlet.


This is Khaber my RK...other than the cloak of the stone halls...all are fairly common items. (Gloves are Fem if I recall correctly)


Armanaur my guardian. Not the most current but except for he now has bits of the malladrim armors and Galladrim Shield & Hauberk is the Mariner.

Correct. I sported that hauberk (and still do) for over 2 years now on my BW minstrel (the guy in my sig)

Correct that one is the watcher Hauberk..but was making note that it is now the Mariners Hauberk. I could not find a more current one of Armanaur...until now. Still has the Galadrim armor but is now Malladrim shoulders and boots.



My Warden...Ithildaer...with Lord and Lady of the Golden Wood. Mariners Hauberk, with scout boots and gloves. can not recall where I got the Shoulders or what they are..but I thought they worked.


My champion Dagorel...chest is elven steel dyed black. Legs are elven as well. Shoulders, gloves and boots are Westernesse dyed white.

It really is worth it, and I need to do it myself eventually. I actually have the crests and stones, just need one more rank and a few brooches. Then again, they might well do to that set what they did to the 58 set in SoM whenever we get another cap increase (IE: drop the lowest level set entirely, drop the higher end set to the lower set's costs, and bring in a new set at the higher end costs).

Since it wasn't mentioned yet, that chainmail robe is actually the appearance for all three Heavy-grade moors sets. So Captains, Champs, and Guards can all get that robe. Oddly enough, all the other classes actually get pants and shirts for once.

The really nice thing about the Moors sets, though, is that you can barter for any of the pieces regardless of your rank, and just hang onto them until you reach the needed rank. And since stones do come out of anniversary boxes and people also sell them on the auction hall, the armor can be gotten without any PvMP (though it can't be worn). I did that for my Loremistress, in case they retire the set before she gets rank 1 for it Which is entirely possible, given how rarely (and thus how badly) I play her.

Still, the robe is so pretty in blue...

Here's my half-orc guardian. I deliberately wanted her to be big and ugly. (I'm thinking of going back to the turquoise pants instead of these nice blue ones. . .) She's still pretty young and has no fashion sense. Think a toddler allowed to pick her own clothes for school.

All randomly dropped items or lowbie quest stuff:


Notice her big ol stompin boots, which she loves. Nothing that looks like armour, though, because she wants to appear nonthreatening so she won't get kicked out of town.

When she's someplace too dangerous to wear regular clothes, she throws a big hooded cloak to hide her dirty, battered armour and scary weapons:




Normally she smiles a lot more, honest. I think she knew I was taking this pictures to prove how ugly she is.

This is the Festival Bucket Mask, Steel Shoulder Guards, Scalemail Breastplate, Gauntlets of the Tower Hills, Golfanadir, and Dwarf-Steel Boots. I think I started out with heavy armour bought in the Forsaken Inn or Ost Guruth, and updated the look with random drops or quest items as I went along . .

(Shield is in the vault somewhere, she's mostly been doing my crafting instead of fighting.)

Being a quiet burglar (when he's not wearing a dress) he wears camo when he's out hunting in the woods. Well, as close to camo as I can get at this point:

Here's my dwarfy ex-Dourhand rocktosser - err, Runekeeper. He's been dishonoured and is sorta on probation with the Longbeards, hence the short beard.



I'm actually inordinately pleased with how good that hat looks on him.

He's a grumpy old hermit, but oh how I love him in those clothes.
