Redundant thread is redundant. Did we REALLY need another thread about this? Nothing against the OP of the thread you referenced, because he actually came up with some ideas beyond "freeps need to improve with rank". This thread however, with it's barbed title, comes across as whiny and lazy. How about "Hey Turbine I'm Fussy, Plus Look What Someone Else Wrote About PvMP". Not quite as snarky, but it's far more honest. What exactly are you basing the "you're losing players" statement on anyway?

I wonder how tired the developers are of reading such drek. I for one hope that Turbine focuses more on continually improving the other far more important and entertaining elements of the game as they always have instead of focusing on PvMP to keep a small percentage of the player base who actually DO PvMP from moaning all the time. If you feel like the only reason to play an MMO is to PvP, you should probably find another game to play as it was never intended to be a flagship feature in LotrO. There, I've contributed a tired statement of my own.

Doubtful. This has never been a game that PvP players flock to, because PvMP has been a "side dish" since its inception. Some people do of course love PvMP here, but if the amount of time people spent doing that (on average) had ever been all that high... Turbine would have been investing more in it all along. They have limited resources, and want to provide as much entertainment bang for the buck as they can.

Why is it that PvP players think that they are the only ones playing a game? Every MMO I've played is the same, the PvP players are the one yelling and screaming about how bad this dev or another is bad and that they can do it so much better.

I hear ya. It's been the exact same scenario in every MMO I have played since 1999.
