    Change the map points

    Yea, not sure if this is an issue on every server but , turbine should change the creep map in points every week or so. To reduce the camping of them. its just annoying to get killed before you finish loading after maping. I usually load in a second or two but when there are 20 freeps camping the map in point its not even cool .
    Anyone else feel the same?

    I think they should just make the maps put you in a random place around the keep you're mapping to.

    I think they should remove maps all together, as well as horses. Make a system of swift travels instead at each keep whereby players can travel to keeps currently owned by their side. Also get rid of rez circles and instead give players the option to either rez at their main BoP (GV or Grams) or rez in a random spot somewhere in the zone they were killed in. It would lead to fights in a larger variety of places and would also encourage keep taking to a larger extent.

    (That being said, I believe we should get a new map implementing these new techniques rather than implementation of them to the current map.)

    Wish they bugged the maps so u mapped into gv lol...

    But yea, good ta should be where poor ta is

    I don't think it was on purpose, but I think the static creep map locations give a good down-side to the maps.

    I think doing away with the rez circles and letting you rez at keeps or outposts controlled by your side would be a good idea as well. And perhaps instead of horses, give creeps a toggle +20% out of combat run buff that disables their skills during and for 1s after being toggled off.

    Lol what I meant was we had a good time 1v1ing yesterday at gta with a few guards (vinner was one of em)

    If there are a lot of freeps camping a map spot, why not announce it in ooc so that creeps know where the food is? That'll get rid of the campers.

    qft, i do prefer sporatic 1v1s though by just coming across someone lol, feel dirty fighting all those times with ppl after a while, having mutiple partners... u get the point lol. The only other problem is if i get a tourney goin there, we will most likely get zerged... lol, better to do it at old west tr hs. Amazingly we didnt yesterday, though.

    Short version:

    I propose removing all mounts and all maps from the ‘moors and implement a version of the stablemaster for the ‘moors, and remove Lugazag and Tirith Rhaw rez circles-all creeps will revive inside Gramsfoot unless rezzed and freeps will revive inside Glan Vraig unless rezzed. All porting/mapping of any kind in the ‘moors would be disabled(except of course in Glan Vraig for freeps wanting to port out).

    I grabbed a map from BAOS’s site and drew on it to show the routes I envisioned. It’s in my gallery atm.

    Here is how I see it working- The Gramsfoot/GV war-travelmaster npc will be the key npc players interact with to travel in the zone. The players MUST complete the ‘moors scouting quests to unlock all travel options in the ‘moors. The routes will cost silver, have an induction( fairly lengthy ones- still much faster than going on foot-certainly safer, but you aren’t being beamed across the map), and require that 2 key npcs be alive at the desired location- those npcs being both that locations own travelmaster AND the locations leader(keep tyrant/cg, camp lieutenant/tyrant, village mayor/leader). The travelmaster will not be right next to the leader, but close. Village and keep travelmasters will trigger a ‘moors announcement if they enter combat. A new announcement will also exist for all keep and camp leaders notifying players that he/she/it is incombat. Elf camp and orc camp travelmasters/leaders will NOT. The actual port destination would be very close to the keep/camp/village leader, making it much safer than current travel methods.

    Keep Spawn Points:
    1: Defenders of a keep would respawn in the same keep.
    2: The NPC huggers would never have to leave a controlled keep.

    Meh me thinks the maps are fine, it's good to have some drawbacks like predictable points. I'd be just as happy if they got rid of mounts and maps altoghether, FOOTPOWER FTW!!! course then reavers would have te total movment advantage with charge every 30 sec.

    20%? Lol, do you not know that horses give freeps +55%-60% run speed? And why should the skill be disabled for 1 second after toggled off? Freeps can use their skills as soon as they dismount.... (They just can't move.)

    There are groups of 20 Silverlode freeps out there? When did this happen?

    Seriously though, I am aware that burgs + anyone with them might occasionally camp a map point. Easy response is to call them out and burrow if you want too. More than once I have been about to kill a high-ranked spider on our server when he runs to a map point, burrows, and calls in a zerg. Other creeps can do the same (without the burrow part). I might be annoyed by it, but whatever, sometimes I get the kill before the insta-map-zerg arrives and sometimes I don't. It happens. Just like when I come to the moors and get camped leaving GV by a warg pack, I die once, retreat, call them out to my friends, they map back to gv, and then we get a bunch of renown. =)

    I guess my point is that if they changed the map points, those spots would just get camped too. I would think you would be happy to have freeps standing in a spot where any decent creep can arrive in 3 seconds and blow them up via the insta-zerg.

    I wish you were the only one that did that to me though, it seems to happen anytime I am near Poor Tr or Good Grim. I don't mind though, I usually figure if I find a creep near a map point I need to kill them quick, because I assume others are mapping in.

    At least you or Eightlegged will fight me 1v1 when we are both solo. I keep running into Rank 5 spiders who drop webbing and run. Maybe they are just excited to have their new slow and want to use it. =)

    Hehe the wargie is a lil over halfway to rank 6 and still in stock appearance. And I just had poppies get me delving stones for my r5 warg racial lol.... Idk if I wanna rank/build him unless u wanna gimme tons of dp items and delving stones rofl and I can't farm An when u ppl keep stealing ta /sadface
