It seems we need to ask Turbine to add these cosmetic items to the game. I particularly want the chicken shield even if it's not technically cosmetic. I'd happy carry it in my pack and equip it any time my character isn't actively adventuring. *smiles*

My xenophobic dwarf maxed out his rep with the Ale Association last festival so he's donned their gang colors with pride. His helm came from his hunter class quest and the boots came from the cosmetic vendor in Bree.

Ale Association > Inn League! The Robe is one of my favorite cosmetics in the game! (At least until I max my rep with both this coming festival when I start running both sets of beer-deliveries every day! )

But my favorite is Arky Lunna's standard garb (as seen in my comics and films...with the new addition of the Thrill-Seeker's helm...She had to "aquire" a glass eye in order to wear it and not freak everyone out with her empty eye-socket.)

This is what im using in the beta right now I like the cloak-less hood



Its the sellsword robe, some boots I found in rivendell, the gloves (bought from the store) from forochel, the travelers hood, one of the level 51-56 (forgot which one it is) crafted shoulders, and on the back is a dwarf made quiver that i left on there from an old outfit. The colors are burgundy and black.

that would be nice, that hood looks like something from a very popular single player console game that deals with an assassin like character. (infact the greenwood robe looks really close to it.)

In Beta atm you can buy the inn league and AA robe in the store for 295 pts..no rep required.

I told her it makes her look more like a burglar than a mini, but she likes it anyway.
(Still looking for light armour gauntlet-style gloves that can be dyed to match the colours.)

This is what my Elf Hunter is wearing now. I dyed it all burgundy, and am quite happy with the look myself. (How on earth do you guys manage to get such great zoom pictures? If I zoom in the camera, I only get the top half of the character).

In most cases, you can pump up your resolution to extremely high levels before taking your picture. This will give you a much bigger final picture that can then be cropped to appear as if the camera is zoomed in a more even fashion than it really is. Also, most of the pictures here are taken at the character select screen which, if I recall correctly, has a slightly more even zoom than the one you get once in game.

Many of the close-ups are taken from the character selection screens. Works better with dark coloured clothes as the light on those screens seems very bright. Any females in dresses with a bit of cleavage end up with lemon yellow chests--quite nasty.

Yep, in game the camera view is from just above your characters head, so you can see over yourself, letting you see what's in front of you.

The character screen focuses on you, rather than on the playing field.
