No Reputation TP POINTS?!?!

According to my completed Reputation deeds which came up today, I should have gotten 385 TP. At first I got none, then points started to trickle in, but they stopped at 245 and have remained there for hours.

Well this is the link, unfortunately at the moment it's just a 404 error. Hopefully will be cleared up after this morning's downtime as it was fine last time I looked at it.

As for the FAQ, I found where it says it, thanks. Silly me for thinking something as important as this should be in the release notes or the LOTRO store guide. Instead it's buried in the forums with hundreds of other posts in which you have to scroll down the FAQ thread about 4 pages to find it. Seems to me like a bit of an oversight on Turbines part for something like this.

Well 9 characters on VIP account, did beta, and received for the whole 440 pts

My other VIP account also with 9 characters, not in beta, received 1500 PTS and nothing else.

yep i loged on and i'm a lifer and have played year and a half and played bata and loged on evry week and only go 400 and i was under the inpretion that i would get more ???? so confused i will give it till the 10th ont the ofical relese to see if it is fixed and will not order enything and i think we are soposed to get 500 month for vips ??

You won't get TPs for ALL reputation deeds, only the new ones that were added. I know some of the Eglain reputation deeds already existed and you won't get points for those if you have already completed them. But there could be others. It makes figuring out how much you are suppose to get a pain.

It can take up to a week or so for the bonus points to be credited. They are doing them in batches because there are so many players. The 500 VIP points will be added within 48 hours of your monthly anniversary date.

Right in the Sticky at the top of this forum:

Dead links, as they say, say nothing and prove nothing. Let me know when you can post a link that says what you say it does. There is usually a good reason that some posts "disappear".

The point most folks are making here are correct, folks aren't receiving deed/trait and reputations TP, some aren't receiving all of them, and some have received all of them.....Your attempt to make this 404 error post cover the problems folks are having..is..incorrect.

A problem exists, a Turbine Rep has acknowledge in this thread (bold will do, won't it? I don't have to use insanely large text to make the point, do I?), that it is a problem and a problem exists and they haven't figured it out yet. They have promised to make good, but until it is made good, it's nothing but a promise.......

We just want to clarify a couple things here, just so there is no confusion. If for some reason you did not get your Reputation granted Turbine Points upon logging in, rest easy. We will make sure that everyone gets the Turbine Points they should have, as soon as possible.

For those wondering about their Loyalty reward points, they will also be rolled out to those who are eligible for them as soon as possible.

I hope 'as soon as possible' does not mean the next billing date; I have learned to be wary of the word "soon" ^^; I think for this first rollout of TP they should come out whenever you figure out how to do it :P

I have no idea if I got the correct amount of TP across my four toons who earned it; all I know is that I got somewhere over 800. I'll have to calculate it sometime.

My TP (for rep deeds) started trickling in on one toon on one of my 2 accts, but I got booted from the game when I closed the store window. I finally managed to log into my other acct and found I was getting TP on my various characters right away. But, it seems that only about 60% of the points are making it to the LOTRO Store as credits. How are they going to sort this out?

I had 120 points credited for reputation deeds yesterday, but my total was mysteriously reset to zero when I logged in today. Looks like things are a bit of a mess. Glad it's not me dealing with all this!

I would like to purchase some TP during the Head-start promotion, but honestly I'm a bit afraid to spend the money until they have all this sorted, having logged in and gotten a grand total of 195 TP from all my characters combined.

What is bothering me is that there isn't any consistency in any of these errors. I bought two lifetime accounts that are also both founder accounts. Both date back to April of 2007. Both accounts say SoA pre-order. Both have been continuously active since the day they were created. I logged in MANY times on both accounts during the entire spread of months this year. No reason that they should be sporting different loyalty rewards. I got my full 4500 TP loyalty reward on the first account, but only got 4000 on the second account, and that hasn't changed.

I noticed discrepancies between what was awarded IN THE GAME and what the store was showing. For example, the game would spew a list of TP earnings that added up to 285 points, but the store amount only went up by 80 points. That too has never resolved itself. So I watched each of my characters as they were logged in, tallied their awarded TP and watched EVERY ONE OF THEM receive a good deal fewer points in the store. One character was low level and gained 30 TP from rep rewards. Don't misunderstand this part. I did not add these up and make mistakes. THE GAME awarded these points to me. Like this:

you have earned 5 Turbine points
you have earned 10 Turbine points
you have earned 5 Turbine points
you have earned 10 Turbine points
you have earned 20 Turbine points

easy to add that up, and since the game says I earned those points, I sorta expected the store amount to go up by that many points. But on EACH character, the amount the game said I earned was much greater than what I actually got from the store. None of these amounts have changed. And between 18 characters on two accounts, I am out by over a thousand TP.

And I haven't seen any additional points added at all today. So somewhere along the way, the calculator miscounted my loyalty reward on one of the two accounts, and on all of the characters, the addition of the store did not equate to the rewards posted by the game.

In any case, I've stopped logging in for the time being. I don't dare spend any of those points because it will just make tracing them that much harder if I do, and I'd rather not make Turbine's job any more difficult than it already is.

But I can say this much. If the Store's accounting of points is this flawed and unreliable, I am certainly not going to be investing any money in TP anytime soon. As of right now, I just don't trust the system. This problem should have been worked out before the update was released. That's what betas are for! That's why I did everything I could in the beta to find and report these problems. Now I am starting to feel like we were just spinning our wheels there.

No anger. Just a bit of disappointment.

Put me down for receiving no points.

My 3 founder lifetime accounts ( mine and the two kids) received the expected 4500 points each, however my second lifetime account, I added later (this account) received none. My calculation it should have received 3000-3500 accounts. I made sure to play it every month for past three months, to get the bonus points.

I share the sentiment, logged on last night, in anticipation of some Points to spend with my life sub and what do I see zero points, nothing. This morning I had a mere 370 points to spend, I am hoping it will trickle in a bit more over the next week.

I'm currently siting on a total of 60 TPs.

When First logged in my total went up to something over 300. Then, when I check again some time later it had climbed to 600+. Then it fell all the way down to 60.

By my reckoning, the correct total should be 3675, made up as follows:


Loyalty Program - 3000
Kinded with 13 Factions - 650
Earned today - 25

I'm not too worried about the loyalty points yet as I'm expecting them to take a few days to get posted.

A little bit concerned as to why the Reputation Deed points seems to have disappeared. I'm going to wait a day or two before I raise a ticket as there is a known issue, and I expect it to take a little while to sort out. In the meantime I will be neither spending nor purchasing points.
