Has anyone else noticed that you can now crit items after finishing the proficiency tier in a craft. You no longer have to finish the mastery tier. And I know I was actually getting crits too because I turned 130 Pristine Hides into 77 leather and I havent mastered T5 Forestry yet.
Was this intentional? If so then yay for getting rid of some of the freaking grind!

Yeah I think it was in the release notes. Its great because it addresses the problem of crafters outleveling gear before they can crit it.
Only bad thing is it seems like this might make crafting resources and crit gear have less demand and no longer be a viable way to earn income for your character while leveling up.
