we have done that. many times. and we will continue to do things like that. however, creeps have strength in numbers. freeps can come out in a group of 3 and if they are well coordinated can wipe the floor against 6 creeps. as creeps get their DP and infamy they will get their stuff together. now that several of us in the tribe are siggy and have our passive and resistances i will promise that we will continue to fight without relying on a "zerg".

if you had not noticed, our tribe has not been afraid to die at the risk of a kill. in my eyes i will charge in for a death in an attempt to get 1 kill every time the situation arises. we have been trying to coach some other creeps into new pvp strats as well. however, when freeps swarm ec, take sb, and park on the lawn, you cannot expect a different result for those creeps other than to turtle in the keep and wait for numbers.

I'm positive that last night my group flanked a much larger group of creeps at least twice to catch them by surprise. End result? No kills. Full Wipe. I was actually pleased with the pushes too. I had fun playing intelligently rather than for the renown. Just suggesting creeps give it a try. Thats all.

as i posted before, we have given it a try and will continue to do so. if my group is under 3 siggys however you can expect different results.

After a few roaming fights last night the zone seemed dead. I was just duoing and roaming the map when, about to log we checked out EC and lo and behold I found you and 6 other creeps camping 2 freeps in EC.

For what it's worth, it sounded like a good pitch. Almost believable!

We roamed and fought. Then we lost eyes on you. So we went back to EC because there were freeps there and we figured you would come back.....guess we were right

Heres what I see on Riddermark:

Last night, 4 freeps + 1 solo burg get into a fun fight with a group of creeps (4 wargs, 1 defiler, 2 BAs, 1 reaver). Lots of dieing on both sides, but in the end the creeps come out ahead.

So, our group leader says, "Wow, that was fun, lets go out and find them again". So we do. This time, we run into the same group of creeps with only 4 freeps. Oh, wait, the creep group has grown. Its now 7 wargs, 2 BAs, 1 defilers, and a reaver. We get wiped pretty fast.

We take one last roll at it, but again 4 freeps vs. the ever growing creep zerg just makes for no fun (third time it was like 7 wargs, 2 defilers, 2 reavers, and 2 BAs). Please note none of our fights took place near EC, OC, or TA. SO don't blame goldtagging creeps for your numbers growth.

Heres my question:

If the first fight was somewhat close but the creeps won, why in the world would they ADD to thier group? IMO: They wanted a easy fight, they didn't get it so the creeps pulled more numbers until the they could comfortably zerg.


My suggestion:

IF creeps (and freeps) are just roaming for PvP then I'd suggest if you can't find a fight of notable challenge break your group up and go seperate ways. 12v4 is stupid...6v4., not so much.

Creeps, if your map is all red and the biggest group of freeps you can find is 4-5, think about breaking up your 12+ creep zerg. Else the 4-5 freeps will move on until THEY can zerg to. IE No one wins in the end except the zeerrrgggg!

We fought, we died, we went back. If creeps follow us, it's not our fault. We were grouped with 5 maybe 6. The only raid was when there were 10 freeps pushing TA. Otherwise we had a smallish group

Unlike the freep population of RM, creeps actually talk and give reports in OOC, this is probably the reason of the ever growing population.

Last night we had 1 WL, 2 Reavers, and 1 BA at TA/EC with maybe 2 at the most wargs running around solo. There were 2-3 guards, 2 minis, 1 LM, and 2 burgs....this wasn't enough for freeps so they spammed for about an hour and a half in GLFF asking for more freeps come out.

Seems like both sides have the zerg concept. Moving on.

Still a little disappointed at the running (Warleader continuously running into NPCs) but overall most the Creeps put up a good fight today

My Shadow Defense needs some serious upgrading...

That could also be the reason for the ever growing Zerg....

Calling out a few (or even one ) Freep in OOC is a recipe for a quick Zerg

Well I attacked you against my better judgement, until now I've been unable to beat a L65 guard 1 v 1, and we tied Just goes to show that even when you think you haven't a hope, you can get luck go your way and surprise yourself! I think you must have had a few of your skills on CD thou lol

Actually I tell a lie, I did beat a guy with a shield once, when I was like R3 or R4, but not OP guards.

Trust me Im far from OP compared to some of the other Guards gear/stats

But being brave enough take risks and fight to the death can pay off even when outgunned or outnumbered

And my point was: Why make a call out if your winning? Simply put, having a challenge isn't the goal of a lot (not all) of freeps/creeps out there. Calling in more when you're winning = Fail

Didn't read past this. Any fights at these locations are farm sessions one way or another. If you're spending your time at EC/TA lawn, you're doing it wrong. Im there too, but I'm not going to using those fights as an example of anyting but inf/renown farming.

Well, it doesn't have to be a guard, it could be any class, freep or creep. If 2 players are fighting with no interference, I certainly will not interrupt, and if someone did happen to jump in, I don't blame the other player for booking it out of there. I don't care what side you're on, or whatever class, if you get jumped in a 1v1, I'm all for you for saving your own a$$.

Circumstances change of course, but OOC is used alot because so many creeps are running solo or in small groups and it is the only way to communicate. For me, if I am solo alone or in a small group and I see a larger creep force running somewhere I will post in OOC hoping to get some help. Sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes more or sometimes less than what I was looking for.

It's is not an exact science and there is also no way to control who is chatting to who via tribes and tells.

This kind of thing is always going to happen. More often than not, a group is more likely to be stronger or weaker, than they are equal to another. As players leave and new ones join in the balance will constantly change.

Pretty good battles today but there are few Creeps who are still determined to play as cheap as possible for the sake of Infamy

Maybe when you get higher rank you will change your tactics...

-8 on 1 Zergs (8 Creeps Rank 4 + zerging solo Freeps )
-Hugging STAB/NPCs when Creeps outnumber the Freeps 3:1 ratio

Freeps might leave EC if we didn't get zerged with 5 to 1 numbers every time we are somewhere away from EC.
