    Sabertooth third skill

    Did I miss the Dev notes that added a bonus skill to the big cat? He now procs fellowship maneuvers like the Bog Lurker when he flanks... That alone gave me a reason to pop him up once in a while when I am grouped with my gaurdian friend. He used to just be in my bag for when I was helping out my lil kinnies, since he is mez break happy with his AE sweeps.

    Sabertooth has always had that skill, but chances of the fellowship maneuver actually proc'ing is low, I rarely see it happen when I use mine.

    Correction: The chance of that fellowship maneuver proc'ing is 20%, but also requires the enemy to be flanked. At least it's second skill has a chance of flanking extra as well :\

    The Bog Lurker's CJ start doesn't require the enemy to be Flanked. It can CJ outright. Needless to say, the sabretooth is your most stable attempt at trying to proc a CJ without a legendary pet (I have had Eagle proc CJ's with Beak Rend, even though the tool tip doesn't say anything about it. I know it's the Eagle though, because you do not get a message saying "_________ has broken the defences of __________ !" and it always happens right after I have it use it.

    So if you have the skill to automatically go off, it's wasted because chances of it hitting a flanked target when it's off cooldown are low. Do you all save the skill for flanks then?

    I do. The low flanking rate doesn't give me many opportunities to use it, and the chance is fairly low, but its better than putting all skills on auto-fire, because the preparation skill has 2m cooldown and the FM skill only 1m. The attack queue gets messed up and the cat always uses the FM skill before the flanking skill.

    As for the crit chance of the flanking skill, it is very low. I've only noticed it actually work once, and it did apply the Flanked effect on all three targets (Gauredain in Forochel while farming rep) and then a FM stun hit one of them.

    As stated above, there are 2 main reasons to keep it off cooldown.

    1) The attack as a stupidly high cooldown of 2 minutes. If you let it auto-proc, 99.999999% of the time, it's wasted on non-flanked enemies. Then you won't have it for when the kitty finally flanks.

    2) The attack queue gets messed up. I don't know WHY the AI does it, but it always tosses out the FM skill before the AoE flank skill. So much fail right there.
