I to have had major lag issues I completely stopped playing my warden because trying to get gambits off is imposible. On all my toons I have three or more skills waiting to go off. Healing is a joke with this lag. PLEASE RESPOND TO US

The lag is still horrendous. Getting the reduced awareness notice and alot of lag in a 6 man instance is ridiculous. Can we at least get a hint of why we are so laggy/ a relativeish time frame on when it'll be sort of fixed?

all
i saw in one thread (i'd have to go find it again but its in the general forum section) Sapience respond that they are aware of these issue. Sapience went on to describe the issue they believe is really 3 issues, and they are currently working on fixes, which are currently being tested on bullroarer. some of you will note that bullroarer appears to be lag free.
this doesnt address the fact that it has been a month, but at least some progress and an update.
found the thread here is a quote out of that thread from sapience in regards to the fact that there is less lag on bullroarer
"There is a reason for this. Namely we're testing possible fixes on Bullroarer.
We are tracking three different issues (and solutions). All of which seem to be have been a bit mashed together in this thread (making it impractical to address any one of them). We've been tracking these issues, we're in contact with players who have agreed to help, and we're working on it...them...those... all of it."

I thought I was lagging then realized I am just older than most and it was my reaction times slowing down. But for now I can blame my deficiencies on lag.
I started posting this on Feb 26th, can't wait to see the date it actually posts. Boy I'm tired.

Well, I've been chatting with the CS department for about 10 days now, back and forth and they're telling me it's not their problem. They said there was some issue, the one that Sapience was talking about, but that only certain folks were affected by that and now it has been fixed, so this must be my issue. Even after explaining that I was in game development and CS I still got the basic run around that it must be my virus suite and so on.
Now as I said, I'm in game design, I've also worked in customer support for years and I am sorely disappointed with these issues being shrugged away and tickets just closed. While I appreciate the transparency and directness that Sapience is showing, I am SORELY disappointed with the rest of the Turbine CS team. I feel like whenever I submit a ticket of any kind it's a race to see who can close the ticket first.
To the CS team - the lag spikes are not fixed, certain classes are still too difficult or impossible to play. At the time when this happens I run comprehensive connectivity tests and everything is ok on my side, the virus suite is disabled, etc... Please don't shrug these issues away and treat us paying customers fairly.
While my love for The Lord of the Rings is making me put up with this for now, I don't see myself putting up indefinitely, especially after dismal customer service.

Agreed. Warders, on the whole, are becoming extremely difficult to use. The lag throws off the timing for our gambits, and we end up using the wrong ones or launching them too late. Skirmishes and raids have become blind luck, because you can only hope and pray that "lag-city" doesn't strike at a critical moment.
If this is all due to the proximity of Update 2, all well and good; that comes on Monday. But a definite answer would be greatly appreciated by the Windfola community as a whole.
Last night was kinda strange, I would not call it lag, though the whole game felt slower than usual.
/serious_off So i would call it uber-lag![]()
