    Alright, this looks like a feedback thread.

    Things I like: (only been to 21st and Heart of Fire, T1)

    - the very fact we got more skirmishes
    - encounters have funny descriptions again! (the Rift didn't) "… so devoted to Saruman he wants to claim Moria for the White hand - all by himself". Priceless.
    - Shadow from the Heart of the World! I was glad to see a familiar "face". (although see below)

    Weird things/bugs etc.:

    - the barricades are useless, I've seen Orcs passing freely under the pylons
    - I've been warned to treat the banners carefully but they seem to last throughout all the waves sent upon a barricade/forge
    - messages (next wave, sapper, lieutenant) sometimes don't seem to appear at all, encounter messages are fine
    - something weird is going on with my Vitals, from time to time it seems as if I got debuffed but it lasts less than a second, making the whole buff bar jump up and down (happens to my soldier at the same time as well)
    - the SHW spawns Darklings (just like his predecessor) but those darklings are only level 50 - at level 65 skirmish (/bugged that one).

    A kinnie and I tried to duo battle for the 21st hall (65 RK and 65 Burg)-- we are both well geared and competent... we got owned six ways come Sunday-- one encounter had something on the order of 10 or so trolls AND a priestess of flame... we tried to do this more than once... one time we actually got to the chamber of mazarbul part--and I could be nuts, but I would SWEAR we had at least as money mobs as the old full-fellowship version -- just all level 65's... and this is supposed to be duo'd?? Is the duo version buggy??

    IIRC - This information is not provided via dialogue or billboard message. Instead it is sent to one of the chat channels - probably Standard. It is very clear if you do not have the channel filtered and you pay attention. It says - North Hallway - north barricade or North Hallway - south barricade.

    I lost quite a number of barriers in one run and didn't fail the skirmish. They do count as defenders, though, and the bulk of the marks from Battle of the 21st are from defenders (a total of 160 skirmish marks for defenders at level 65 solo, which is more than the total base awards for most skirmishes).

    I was kidding, hence the smiley. Still if I were to build a barricade I would make one that does not allow enemies to go around it

    Yes, I saw it in the chat channel. The thing is, though, that is is NOT clear the first time you do the skirmish. The dwarf you're following runs to the area of interest - the North Hallway - then turns into the Chamber of Mazarbul. To make it more clear, he should run us to the North and and show us that barricade, so we know the Chamber of Mazarbul really has nothing to do with this phase of the fight.

    A logical - and incorrect - thing to do is follow the dwarf into the Chamber of Mazarbul. Then the text says to go to the North Hallway - north barricade. You turn around and there are banners there. You leave the Chamber and there are more banners there. Clearly these are places we're supposed to defend. It'd be easy to miss an attack while confused.

    I didn't, but I could see how it's easy to do. I do think it's confusing now and should be clarified. Have the dwarf run us to the end of the hall and point at the North barricade, then tell us, "Now you're on your own for a bit!" as he trundles back to the Chamber of Mazarbul. THAT would be clear.
