    Bugs: Current Bugs Seen in Update 2

    BUGS:

    1. Using Hide In Plain Sight (HIPS) while in Mischief removes HIPS.
    2. Using Hide In Plain Sight (HIPS) and taking Damage during this duration drops HIPS.
    3. Knives Out (KO) while having the Inspired Greatness Buff does not correctly reduce Melee Mitigation
    4. Knives Out (KO) is no longer reset when using Ready and Able (R&A)
    5. Knives Out (KO) is no longer reset by Escape Clause
    6. A Specific Name of a named Fellowship Maneuvers is now missing during a conjunction
    7. Currently if you trait 5 QK, Practiced Bluff and the Legendary Sweep the Leg; and then work through the critical chain and use Improved Feint Attack + Tangle-Foot + Surprise Strike, your surprise strike is now treated as out of stealth.

    TYPOS:

    1. Tooltip of the Devastate Gambler Buff Duration states +40% Gamble Chance while Trait-line states +30% Gamble Chance

    If any other bugs are present please list them so the devs can just look at one place.

    Make sure you're actually using /bug in-game so it winds up in the bug database. The forums are not the place to report bugs if you want to ensure they're looked at (and hopefully fixed!)

    With Knives Out, to work out the reflect damage, it is taking 30% of the 20% of the damage you are taking. This normally results in single digit reflects.

    last night in the lost temple while I was in the gambler stance I tried to use hips to get away from a wipe. I was unsucessful as two worms still followed me out, it seemed that after my champion used an aoe they went for me again

    last night in the moors i used hips while running from a raid and selected a warg... i noticed that he still had me targetted in hips and eventually found me because of it and i died. Idk if i could say this is a bug or not because its only happened once but im just wondering has this happened to anyone else?

    1. This will be fixed in the next patch, probably sometime next week.
    2. This bug was introduced by a fix to keep burglars from attacking some monster for 10 seconds while HiPS is active with no method for the monster to respond. We are working on fixing this and it will probably be in for the next update.
    3. This won't be fixed. You will just have to live with taking 20% damage for 10 seconds and not 65%
    4. and 5. Will be fixed in the next update.
    6. Its on the list to be looked at but I have no information on when this will be done.
    7. Improved Feint Attack causes your next attack to treated as if you were attacking from Stealth. In this case, your next attack is Tanglefoot. It does not allow two attacks as if from Stealth.

    Fighting Coldbear last night, second phase on T2, the room is shaking and things go south so I hips. The RK is alive with aggro when I hips but dies almost immediately after I hips but coldbear still comes straight for me and finishes me off. I was was in QK stance. From what I'm reading and seeing in game it looks like hips is just plain old broken. Again.

    I believe the typo is in the trait line description (the 30% should read 40%)

    The tool tips for the buff indicates 40% and the tool tips for all of the trick removal skills actually increase by 40% while the buff is active.

    Not sure if it is a bug or not but ready and able also does not reset safe fall.

    But IFA only lets you have one attack as if you were in stealth. Tangle-foot is that stealth attack, being traited or not.

    Yesterday in the moors, we chased a burg around in the DOF who kept re-HIPSing in combat, far beyond the amount of times you should be able to. Was this the return of the Burglar bag exploit? Or was he using over 10 Forochel Shoe items? Either way, this burg had found some exploit to be able to hips at any time he needed it, safe fall down to the first floor of the worms and keep running around in a circle.

    Are you sure he wasn't just getting far enough away to be out of combat briefly and use normal stealth?

    I have had trip stun the boss in the NC 3 man but not proc a FM and put up immunity on him. This may have something to do with scripts and or boss skill/animation.


    has happened 2 times now.

    There's no way it is normal stealth, the npc worms were a factor for most of it.

    you can observe the stealth bug on the last boss Dale in Stonehight. when he HIPs's pets still follow him around.

    Well ... it is working as designed except for the heal when your Melee Defence is high. That part will be gone after the next update.

    I am also disappointed with the reflected damage and will try and increase it somewhat.

    Not tested to a certainty, but our bleeds seem to be knocking us out of HiPS stealth, by putting us in combat. And not sure if this would be WAI with the new changes to HiPS dropping with combat. But that would be a big hit to the class if it was considered WAI.

    There is a place here on the forums that takes you to the same system to report bugs in game.

    Edit: or was, guess it only allows the community website category now. Used to be able to report any type of bug there.

    The only knives out legacy apparently does this also and is apparently still in game.

    i have the same problem, if i have a dot on a mob, and i hips, i am IMMEDIATELY unstealthed due to the bleed putting me back in combat, thus removing my hips buff....
    friggin lame D: please fix?

    Guess that was the side effect of taking off the straight damage. Thanks for looking into it.

    in another post regarding the hips dropping stealth, im assuming that theres a problem with Damage reflect gear,

    for instance,
    i hips, and get hit with an AOE, and reflect 21dmg from incidious cuff, i am therefore in combat, and am therefore removed from my hips buff stealth.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^ potentially another reason why hips can be removed (derived from the current problem)

    I understand IFA makes your next skill act as if you are in stealth, however traited Trip(Tangle-foot) when used from stealth does not break it. I understand that its real stealth and not 'fake' but there is probably a mechanic to allow 'fake' stealth to remain after using tangle-foot under effect of IFA would be nice?
