Lone Lands Deed Run RP Event

Hey!

A bit of spontaneous RP occurred outside the Prancing Pony tonight, and I was inspired to, on behalf of the Champions of Endor, sponsor an RP event that will both be friendly to first timers, and let us get some action in.

We'll be spending some time in the Lone Lands doing various deed runs. The goal isn't gaining XP, but rather finishing deeds and getting to know fellow players in character. Our other goal, of course, is to help continue to promote RPing on Windfola.

So... on to the important bits!

Who: Champions of Endor, anyone, and everyone!

What: Running around slaying creatures to get deeds (Wargs, Orcs, Hendroval, etc., etc.), help fight against Sauron's growing forces, meet new people, and spend time RPing some action.

Where: The Lone Lands. We'll meet outside the South Gate of Bree, and march forth from thence. Anyone who isn't around when we leave can meet up with us in the Lone Lands.

When: Thursday, 12th May, at 10:30pm Eastern/7:30pm Pacific.

If there are issues with being on the wrong layer, send me (Rinfea) or someone else a tell and we'll get you to the right layer. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Hmm, this sounds like it could be fun. Roleplaying is always good and anything to help ease the pain of deeding is a bonus! I'll see if I can make it.

Hey!

Just a reminder that this is occurring tonight at 10:30/7:30 (Eastern/Pacific), and we're meeting at the South Gate in Bree. Look for Rinfea... and send me a tell if we've got layer issues, and you're on the wrong one. Also look for the Rivendell Green hauberks of Champions of Endor members, and any of them will help you transfer layers, as needed.

Because we're focusing on getting the deeds done, and on RPing, we're not going to be focusing as much on XP, which means levels aren't overly important (so if you're really high, feel free to join us).

Hoping to make it. Note that the posts are inconsistent as to meeting place, the top one says the West Gate of Bree and the bottom one says the South Gate - just FYI. South Gate seems most likely.

And you are correct, it's supposed to be South Gate. Have edited the first post accordingly... *shifty eyes*
