I choose to view everything in english, yet it still displays 3 of every announcement, 1 in english, and 2 in each a differen't language. (ie the 12 month card) . I turned off the recent posts wiki because all i got was foreign languages lol.

any way to filter out other languages on home page?

It would appear that you can't customise the recent posts widget to only show recent posts from certain forums, because of this you also see all the recent posts in the French and German forums.
