The horses at Hengstacer farm are only 500 Silver, well under the gold cap.
A F2P player can't purchase a rep horse unless they first pay to remove the gold cap with Turbine Points.

and how,plz !
btw, thank you for replied so fast![]()
Yes, Turbine Points (also called TP) can be earned in-game. They are earned through doing Deeds, etc., such as Defeat XX Number of XX Monsters.
This is a really good place to check on how to earn TP: http://lotro.mmorsel.com/2010/08/how...ne-points.html

Turbine Points are what you use to unlock things in game. They are earned slowly in game by completing deeds. They can also be purchased in the store for real money. You can bring up your deed log by pressing Shift + L in the game to see what deeds you've started and what you need to do to finish them.
This site tries to keep track of all available deeds and how many TP each is worth.

LOts of thanks to you two!!
I am now installing and thank you guys again!!!!
Note that you may also be tempted to buy a horse from the Lotro Store, but they're very costly in terms of Turbine Points. There are plenty of fine horses you can buy (or even earn as quest rewards) using in-game gold and silver.
<<Insert clever sig here>>
just one other little thing as an F2P player you can purchase horses but you will lack the riding skill which ViP's can earn ingame, you need to purchase the horse riding skill from the lotro store for about 95tp..
makesure you buy a horse not a document of horse ownership![]()
