Audio Doesn't Come to My Headphones

Hi there,

Just downloaded the game. For some reason the audio doesn't go to my headphones only when this game is on. Otherwise I'm normally able to listen to itunes + play a game for example.

For this game it doesn't work like that. I looked through some help and changed playback so the audio of the game comes through, but if I have itunes on those go on the normal laptop speakers.

When I shut off game, everything goes back to normal, any help is appreciated!

When you log on, go into the audio options and be sure to change your audio sources.

This also happens to me sometimes. Go to Options, Audio Settings, and look for the audio output driver dropdown list. Pull that down and hopefully there will be more than one entry. Choose a different one than the one the game is using right now, and click Apply.

That usually fixes it for me, if not immediately then after I reboot.

i kind of want it backwards. i have the game audio off so that my music can play but everytime when the game starts my music starts playing on my speakers which is what i don't want. i want it on my head phones. so how do i fix this?

You have to:

1) Plug your head phones in
2) Start the game - Log in a character
3) Set the audio selector to head phones
4) Log your character out to the select screen to save your settings.

You are fixed unless you do any of the following:

1) Unplug your headphones while the game is running
2) Start the game without with your head phones unplugged
3) Change your options.

The game will always switch to speakers if your device is not available.
