Problem in My.Lotro site

Greetings.

Here in the forum, when accessing My Preferences - My Character Settings, I keep getting this error:

Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is happening for a few days now. Is this normal due to the current updates to My.Lotro database or something is wrong?

my.lotro.com is probably the slowest and most uncomfortable to use website I can think of. The remedy for all its ill is refreshing or restarting browser. The famous, turn it off and on again computer fix.

It is really really slow to update. I don't bother to look at it, since if it gave me any data it would probably be wrong.

So many people seem to have problems with the lotro sites. Personally I never have. Each page loads almost instantly unless there's a storm which isn't often.

However, I've had that same problem with other sites. I usually just reload the page and it's fine.

In my case it is not slow at all, it just automatically displays that error message without any delay.

I have also been getting the same error for some days now, I think they're still working on that part of the site.

Aside from that the rest of the site is working fine for me, this error appears to be a server-side error, rebooting your pc won't help with that

Funny how all the alts ive havent logged in months is on my.lotro all of a sudden, but the main i log daily is not..

It seems the characters are being added according to their level, lowest first.

I can't actually access my profile page to check any more. The page simply refuses to load. Clearing cookies, cache, etc doesn't work, but if I log out of the forum I can then access my page fine, just not when I am logged in.

MyLOTRO services are updating normally, maintenance to the services and site has passed, and I still can't access http://my.lotro.com/home/

The forums work, along with the dev tracker, the diaries and all. But homepage, where the widgets are, doesn't. Same old error:

Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Can some moderator please advise on how I should proceed concerning this? Thank you.

the answer is to wait a while, the migration is still busy... my main char didn't show gear about a week ago, but did show progress, not it doesn;t show at all anymore... the weird thing is that i can see all my alts in detail/ i am getting really tired of this now... want to be able to check my main char here.. that was the only thing that made this move to turbine interesting, so far the only thing i've gotten is more lag...

I've been getting the same error message for days now as well. (The error message comes up quickly for me too).

If you are player migrated from European servers, Leaderboards and Character information is not working correctly for you. Some people have their characters already on the site, but most players don't. AFAIK none of devs has given any official announcement that we players should take any actions, like sending tickets in LotrO support center. So, if it is to believe devs and what they have said, all we can do now is be patient and wait until all character data is handled and uploaded to my.lotro. From what we can see, it is not yet completed, because many older kinships are still missing.

So, be patient people. What would be nice though, is an official note from developers stating this error, for it causes confusion amongst players, because some players have their characters on my.lotro and some players don't. If I have missed such an official statement... well, my bad.
