I've been doing alot of tank testing on BR, and have noticed that out of Champ, Guard, Cappy, and Warden, The warden is feeling a bit more squishy than expected. I know they aren't supposed to be able to take hits like a guardian, but it seems that because of the diminishing returns being under 50% common mit for medium armor, the warden is getting pretty hard capped on mitigation before even getting group buffs.
at 6100 armor, my warden has 49% common mitigation.
compare this to my captain who is at 58% with only 5200 armor.
I tried removing the shield on my warden to see if diminishing returns were hurting even his base armor level, and was surprised to find that with no shield he lost only 3% common mit. That shield was almost 20% of his armor.
Wardens are supposed to be avoidance tanks, so they should certainly be more squishy, but uness there are going to be ways to seriously buff up the BPE, I see this being a serious issue on any hard-hitting bosses.
Wardens will probably be able to hit 55% or so mit with Improved Tale of Warding, but compared to a Champ or Guard with the same buffs + ward/hedge hitting over 70% the choice for tanking raids and more challenging 6 mans (assuming some do show up) will be obvious.
