This is correct. Took me a while but once I got in the launcher went about it's normal business of updating. And before anyone shouts about bandwidth that is not really an issue. I was downloading at 1.5 - 2.0 Mbps and I am completely updated now. Unfortunately patching the servers will take quite a bit longer and we won't have access until later today. Hopefully around noon.

would be nice if we already could start patching. That would be a speed record though, only 3 hours after game went down.

Got all the way through. Patched everything. Allowed me to enter password. But the servers are down. Gave up of "Retry 2 of 2"

Same problem. I am stuck at Examine programs. Windows 7 64-bit.
And my network connection seems idle.

Edit - now, it patches. Time for a nap, hope the servers are up when I wake up!

it does change update after examining although examining takes a couple minutes before it updates since even if u think its stuck on examining it really isnt its just loading everything before it updates which would take couple minutes before it starts updating

u gotta wait til its finish examining everything first which will take a few minutes for it to do with both game and program it might be slow but gotta wait since im almost done with downloading the patch

Well yeah, i patched everything, but when i was done, it gave me an error. Restarted the launcher and now im stuck at examine programs.

just let the client do the work. i was stuck at examine programs too but i'm done patching. you won't get on the gameservers anyway, they seem to be down (getting an errormessage).

after restarting the client i'm waiting again at examine programs :P

The patch servers always come up much faster than the game servers. Adding the new content to the game servers takes a lot of time and they have a process to test the stability of the servers and whatnot. Patch servers just hold data for us to download and don't perform the complex functions of running the game.

Was stuck on examine programs for around 20 mins, so I restarted it and I'm still stuck on that part. I'll wait it out now...

also, shouldn't the launcher change skin to RoI when it goes live?
mine's after the update with the login errors, and the OLD (pre-RoI) skin.

I am still stuck on examine programs. I shall just leave it and go outside and hope it's started it's patching when I get back.
