    Did it update?

I mean, it's pretty easy to tell if you updated, unless you closed your client without looking at it at all.
If not, check size of your files.

    I've asked on twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/lotro/status/118380928883105795
When you're patched you get to see the login screen. I'm not seeing the login screen. Still several client_xxx and lotroclient.exe have a time-stamp of 7 hours ago.

Can someone who knows their client is patched confirm that they are seeing the login screen?

My retail client build is 3.3.6.8008 - I haven't patched yet.

An older BR build is 3.4.2.8007

If this is true, it means i've been patched for the last 7 hours already, unless the patcher keeps timestamps from the downloaded files

The question is, what is the rough patch size?

Also? Any status on the LotrO store release notes?
(Yes, the store gets separate release notes.)

Right click on the file and select "properties" -> "details" or something like that (not a EN OS install sorry)...

    Non sequitur...

Y'know the one thing I find really annoying? The fact that the launcher spends all of a millisecond (estimated) trying to connect before kicking me back into retry.

It might be a good idea to tweak the launcher to at least pretend that it's taking some time to think about it before refusing connection. As a perceptual thing for the user, not for any technical reason.

Might I say, that by trying to be PC and promote equality for all, Turbine has caused this Great Queue Problem?
By separating everything out, dividing up the queue, we could've had a quick and speedy patch and load-in. Something like this:
    Life-times > VIP > Premium > F2P > Goldspammers, etc.

    OR even more generalized...
Start with the West coast and just move East via time zones.

Like this: vignette_vol3_book4_part_a.bik ? But in the folder without 'public test'.

This doesn't look like a queue to me. It's trying to connect every 60 seconds or so. To me, it looks like it's pot luck whether there's a connection available at the time your client looks for it. If there was a queue, it wouldn't have to keep trying to connect and you'd hope it would tell you where you were in that queue.
