    37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

For the life of me, I can't find the 37th quest for the deed in Trum Dreng. I've quested completely through both the Bonevales and the Trum Dreng area and picked the Stag part of the book quests. No idea. I've killed everything I can see. Tracked stuff to see if there was a special animal with a special drop. Can't find it. A couple of others have said the same thing. Bug? Or quest for later that will eventually get picked up at a higher level?

Re: 37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

Everyone is experiencing the same thing in my kin. I noticed it when I had left the zone and no medium armor boots had been given as a quest reward to complete the Stag set, which I wanted for cosmetics. After I scoured the area to no avail I checked the deed log and was at 36/37.

I had read elsewhere that by going to the Bonevales there would be a quest that sent you back to TD and would finish the deed, but that doesn't do it. Either it's a bug, a very well hidden landscape NPC or mob drop quest starter, or the epic line sends you back at some point in the future.

I'll be back searching again tomorrow when I'm less tired, but would love to hear from anyone who has the answer.

I'm having the same problem. Completed everything I could find and still missing a quest.

Any chance you can check your log and list the Trum Dreng quests here, please? It would help a lot of us big time! Thank you!

    Also stuck at 36/37.

Something is wrong, hehe. No big deal, but I like to be thorough, and not leave quests behind, so it would be nice to know what we missed, if any.

Yeah, there's only 37 quests there - that's the point of the completion deeds.

Same here, 36/37. I remember the same issue coming up in Beta, I don't know that they resolved it then either.

Not all of the quest deeds have barely enough quests to complete, but this one seems to.

I believe the Bonevales quest that sends you to Trum Dreng in beta counted toward the deed (I had the deed finished there), but does not here.

Re: 37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

It would be great if Turbine could confirm that there's a 37th quest in game for this. As far as I remember there's only one mob dropped quest starter in that area, but perhaps there's a second one? If so, the drop rate must be incredibly low or the mob must be very well hidden, considering so many have this problem.

I didn't check the whole Trum Dreng region carefully, but there could be an item on the ground somewhere that starts a quest, something small and unnoticable.

I doubt that though, someone would have found it by now. This looks like a bug to me.

36/37 here too. I didn't spend a ton of time, but couldn't find a mob drop or quest item on the ground that started anything.

    Also 36/37

I believe it's a bug. When I was in Beta I got all 37 with no problem.
Unfortunate I don't have photographic memory and can remember the one that's missing.

Re: 37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

I know my kin mate mentioned it earlier in the night last night. So when I was going through I had three quests left to turn in and I checked my deed log. I was at 36/37. So I was happy I was going to complete the deed. I turned in the three quests and there was no advancement on the deed! I was still sitting at 36/37. I bugged it last night.

Anyone planning on going through Trum Dreng, if you could watch your deed and confirm what I saw please also bug it and confirm here. A bit disappointed but I'm sure they can fix this and grant deed completion based on the quest log.

Its turbine's way of starting step 1 in the 12 step process for deed completionists. Step 1 is admitting there is a problem. Turbine is trying to help these tortured souls.

It's a bug! I experienced the same thing while playing last night. This is actually the first I've heard of it...but I'm sure a fix will be on its way in the future.

Great! Now if only Turbine would fix it by adding a few more quests...

Re: 37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

I was able to do all 37 in Beta, so it must be a bug.

But I'm stuck on 36/37 as well.

Also, for some reason, all of the looters you're supposed to talk to and fight in that area were grouped up in one spot instead of being at their respective locations. I think what had happened was that someone aggro'd all of them by talking to them then drug them to one spot and fought them all at once causing them to stay there because they don't die.

Re: 37th Quest for Trum Dreng?

    Here's the thing.

I ran through Trum Dreng a number of times during the Beta, taking different characters through. It's a really enjoyable and memorable area to me, and I remember every single quest quite vividly. I also did a number of the regional deeds there, so I'm pretty familiar with the landscape and where everything should be. After a playthrough in live, I can say pretty certainly that all the quests are there.

During the beta, this deed was easy to complete - I did so on each character I ran through it, and that during different beta builds. Never was there an issue.

Now, looking at my quest log, I count 36 quests completed. I also notice that the "To Galtrev" and "To the Bonevales" quests are listed under Dunland - Pren Gwydh. They seem to advance the Pren Gwydh questing deed. However, I seem to recall that on at least one occasion, I took a character through Trum Dreng and then over to the Bonevales, and upon turning in the Bonevales quest the Trum Dreng quest deed completed.

I should also note that one of my beta characters ran through Bonevales, then Pren Gwydh, and THEN through Trum Dreng. This meant that the half-orc NPC who she would have turned Trum Dreng's 'To Galtrev' quest into was phased, and she never was able to complete it. As of the end of Beta, if I took her to Galtrev's gates, I would see the half-orc appear momentarily, and then phase out, leaving a quest turn-in ring floating in the air.

It also means that she was unable to turn in the Bonevales 'To Trum Dreng' quest for a long time, since the NPC it targeted was missing (given the location, it seems to have been the Ranger NPC from the Trum Dreng path of the Epic - who wouldn't be there if you chose Bonevales). Later the quest was changed to target the stablemaster.

All of that's significant because she finished the deed without those quests. So I'm pretty sure the quest that changed was Trum Dreng's "To the Bonevales".

The only other option is 'Passage into Dunland', which is a landscape quest that seems to be categorized under the III.4 Epic. You actually can't DO the area's quest chain without doing that quest first, yet you can do the quest without taking the Trum Dreng path of the Epic.

I agree Jadzi. It is a beautifully designed quest area and quest sequence with nice story. Glad that we could get a blue name posting that it does seem to be a bug. Just really wanted to wrap up this particular area before moving on, but On to Galtrev!
