Draigoch the Red - Challenge Completion - Fun but Buggy

Maelstrom completed the Draigoch raid with challenge today, and we have one thing to say: Turbine, please fix your bugs. The mechanics of the fight were very exciting along with the randomness and testing of the entire encounter. However, an issue with targeting make the fight less enjoyable and more frustrating than we had anticipated.

It was a decent fight but I have to admit it can (will) easily get boring.

A few bugs we need to update Turbine about for sure.

I kind of LOVED the raid, lot more movement and loved the CJ. I think phase 3 could use little bit more attacks but the raid is designed to be very pug friendly.

We didn't actually have any bugs except for the first reset when he somehow killed few of us in the tunnel. Other than that the fight was running very smoothly to the end.

In terms of difficulty, how do you think this fight compares against the OD bosses on T2 HM? Trying to guage whether its worth taking it on in T1 first or just go straight for T2

Congrats on your kill! We found this to be an extremely fun raid as well. We didn't have any bug issues when we cleared it Saturday however.

We tried it today, there were sooo many bugs and the huge amount of lag. Captains banners falling through, half the raid got bugged couldnt get skills executed, ( i actually cant log in the game anymore , alongside 4 kinmates ) , random deaths by misadventure.

It is freaking hilarious. You guys that killed it must be heroes !

Well, boring is subjective, and EVERYTHING is repetitive in a game like LOTRO. Thanks for your insight though, I'll be sure to put it in a special place.

I can see the 'fun' factor of this raid vanishing very quickly - just getting down the slopes to start the encounter is rather boring already.
We have experienced a multitude of bugs too which is a bit of a disappointment, hopefully they'll be ironed out in a forth coming patch, to be honest though the whole instance/fight just seems rather rushed..

(a bit like the whole expansion really)

Lots of this raid is great fun ... the first few times. His opening speech is great, the first few times. Running down and all dying is hilarious, the first few times. After a while ... less so.

It's also very buggy. Draigloch's scripting breaks easily and forces a fight restart.

Design wise, the lair and Draigloch himself are fantastic. The fight mechanic is inventive. But it's not especially hard.

I'm more forgiving than Neen though ... 7/10

Glathriel's speech was great the first few times as well (and was funny when people were able to quote it integrally after some times)

Basically, speeches are quickly boring, so a raid shouldn't be judged by its opening speech.

The bugs are more concerning (but I don't expect trying the raid before at least the first patch so it's ATM not much of a concernto me - please fix them quickly though, Turbine

).

Grats Maelstrom! We did the raid last night and got challenge, then Draigoch decided to go out of combat with one last dps rotation left and wouldn't do anything. We did get a T7 relic and 6 Superior 4th marks for our troubles I guess. Pretty lame though.

A skip dialogue option selected by the raid leader would be the way forward tbh
