How can I tell if I have any infraction points? How do I check?

I need to check my infraction points but can't see to find a graph/chart anywhere!

Anyone knows? I read on the forums that you have to your user preferences and see it from there but I can't seem to find it after I click on My Preferences!

I need to check to see if old offences have been removed and things like that. Will be glad if you guys could help!

My Preferences ---> My Forums Settings

If you have any, they'll be listed right under where subscribed threads are listed. It'll say "Latest Infractions Received" with dates of when they were received and when they expire(d).

Click on "My Preferences / My Forum Settings" at the top of the page. On that page, you will see several sections down the right side, and if you have any infractions there will be a box labeled "Latest Infractions Receieved" with a point total. I used to be unable to see this at all, because I'd never recieved so much as a Warning. Then I did get a Warning, and it was listed in that box (with a point total of 0, because warnings don't add points). It expired after 6 months, but I can still see it sitting there.

If you are referring to in game bans - these bans nothing to do with the forums.

IIRC - The forums work this way. As you get infractions, points are added to your account. When you get enough total points - you get a permanent forum ban.

I suppose Turbine has a temporary forum ban with or without infraction points.

Most points to expire over time, not sure of the time schedule though.

Correct. An in game always disables forum access but does not generate forum infractions.

There is no mechanism that allows us to review in game warnings or bans.

The system Turbine uses seems similar to where I work. It is an escalation system based on severity and number of infraction. It works something along this line:

1) Warning
2) Three day ban
3) Week ban
4) Month ban
5) Permanent ban

You can skip steps. You might get three day ban to start with. You are at Con 2. The next time go Con 4 - Month ban. The next incident is permanent. I do not believe there is any mechanism to downgrade. The last friend of mine that had serious problems with Turbine is a profanity writer - It took a number of incidents before he got to Con 4. I am not sure if he quit soon after his month ban or he a got permanent ban. I think he decided to quit because his 3 month sub was up for renewal.

You need at least Ally with the Rangers of Turbindrim to have access to that..

.but I think there are Scrolls of lesser Infraction on the store is you wanna shortcut

There is no mechanism to check it. You have an indication as to what Con your account is in based on the duration of the ban. Your newest ban is one month. The next infraction is probably going to be a ban upgrade to permanent.

What do you mean my newest ban is one month? I was only banned for 3 days!

To answer your question, no there is no way to "see" your in-game infractions. This system is left up to the in-game GM staff. Please do not violate their rules in game.
