    Goodbye Imyl

Goodbye Imyl, fair maiden of Rivendell, I shall see you no more
Many an elvish relic I have returned to you that our heritage may be remembered
goblin banners by the dozen to prove my valour and rhuduar ring for our dunedain friends
But no more. You have left the Last Homely House, perhaps for the ship to the west.
No-one remains to gather these items anymore, instead they will vanish unto the wind
And poor Cachúnir left alone except the the occasional wandering scholar.
I may still become ambassador to the Elves without you, Imyl, but I will miss you all the same.

Aw, that's quite possibly the sweetest tribute to an NPC I've ever seen.

Agreed, it will be sad, it would be nice if Turbine reuses some of them in other places. Maybe Imyl went to Mirkwood. Or to the Grey Havens and we will see here there.

I feel bad that she's unemployed now, but not at all sad that I have more vault space and don't have to travel to Rivendell to cash in! Thumbs up for the changes (so far, anyway!).

    Wonderful tribute OP! +rep
and great suggestion. Just like old Bloodtusk was reused, I hope to see these old friends again some day.

I wish they would return Anglinn to the Bree Hunting lodge, several of the Townsperson NPC comments that refer to him now make no sense at all.

Goodbye threads should not be placed in general discussion and should be left to the your server-specific community...

But I think we can make an exception for poor Imyl.

I thought someone was missing, it didn't seem the same when I brought a new alt in to turn in rep.

Imyl had the attitude! Leaning against the pillar at Elrond's place, looking very self-confident. Hot elf lady who I always was very happy to do business with.

Sorry for being behind on news.. but what happened? I haven't been able to log in for Update 5 stuff. There's no Rivendell reputation anymore, or no place to turn in rep items?

Reputation items are now consumables - they grant reputation directly, rather than needing to be stacked and bartered.

Unfortunately, that means the barter NPCs were removed. Out of all of them, though, Imyl is probably the best known.

Oh... Well, I suppose I'll miss those NPCs a bit.. made a the interaction with the world a bit more interactive.

    But this is really convenient.

Well, now that Imyl's got more free time perhaps she should take up teaching. I'd do a fistful of deeds, harvest icky bits and travel on foot from Thorin's Hall to Dol Guldur just to get that /lean emote.
Carven's Coterie is still active despite any evidence to the contrary.

    Imyl Unemployed?

That is terrible, does that mean she will have to live in public housing? Did she saved money for her retirement? Did Elrond had a pension plan for her? did she retained her medical benefits? Where is the food stamp office in Rivendell?
