If I had to choose I would pick the daytripping adventurer, the scholar one seems a little busy and distracts from the outfit.

My baby guard is far more interested in learning weaponsmithing right now, but maybe in the future she'll be brave enough to wander outside. (She realizes that as a proper Hobbit, she shouldn't be wearing boots, but after an unfortunate toe amputation involving a stray goblin, she's sticking with the combat clunkers.)
