Ulver - 85 Runekeeper | Grevling - 85 Burglar
I've often complained about how the vast majority of the game's clothing seems like it was built for male figures (particularly male humans), and then somewhat awkwardly adapted to the other models. That being the case, I finally broke down and started a Man character to serve as a model.
Of course, I needed something to dress him in for the time being. The RoI cosmetics are nice and all, but a bit dressy for simple errand running. So after digging around in my wardrobe for a bit, I finally settled on [armour]Arth-crus[/armour] and [armour]Rhuvel-socas[/armour], with a pair of (grey) [armour]Elegant Silk Boots[/armour].
I have to say, this fits oddly well as a novice adventurer's outfit. It reminds me of the sort of nondescript commoner attire a fledgling hero starts out with in many fantasy settings. Simple, durable, with maybe just a hint of nobility. At the very least, it certainly seems to suit the summery countryside of Falathlorn.

I really like that outfit. I do. Honest. Whatyasay? Nah-ah, I wasn't eyeballing the misses sir. Well, okay, a little perhaps. Say, she wouldn't happen to be your sister, would she?

i love this! and i also loved Hymne's reposts (that hobbit outfit looks strangely familiar ^-) and Tangled reference!
for today, i'm presenting cute hobbit - little adventurer named Brassica, whom you might know from CSTM's Lost Texts: Mainly Concerning a Hobbit. i designed her an outfit based on wish, so that she has a suitable attire for journeys in the big world!

Here's my loremaster's new outfit....fairly simple, but somehow I really felt it looks impressive...
The chest, legs, gloves and boots are pieces of the Spellweaver's Armor set (Loremaster Draigoch set) all dyed black.
The cloak is the Flames of the Deep cloak (Rift cosmetic).
The circlet is Hat of Deep Lore (lothlorien barter I think).
The shoulders are a common mob drop armor from Dunland (dont remember what its called)....the cosmetic is shared by a couple other shoulder pieces dropped by mobs in Dunland.
Arkenhelm - 86 Loremaster (R6) - Landroval
Ivalden - 76 Captain (R2) - Landroval
Drankorg - Warg (R5) - Landroval
Naurvion - 26 Loremaster - Landroval
This is my Champion's new war armour ...
Swiftblade's Breastplate and Leggins (white), Mirkwood Barter Champ
Berserkers Shoulders (umber), Mirkwood Barter Champ
High Officers Gauntlets (umber), crafted
Lesser Boots of Dungarthadir, Enedwaith Barter Captain
Strong Westfold Battle Helmet (sienna), dropped somewhere
Ceremonial Cloak of Shadow and Flame (rust) from AH

The following is what I fondly term my "creeper outfit''. This was also my submission for the Yule Outfit Contest. It's meant to be a representation of Herne the Hunter.

Meh.
My version of Thorin from the Hobbit movie.
Finally got hold of the Reinforced Leather Dunlending Jacket, which seemed a good enough fit. Also using Leather Gauntlets of the Leaping Stag, and Boots of the Westfold.

i simply love this outfit! it's so simple and well matched.
great inspiration! as close to thorin as you could get. and i love how you arranged the scene
and my fifty cents for today is outfit made based on wish of Edward of Les Furets du Gondor, whose strong guardian Edna wanted to honour her Dale ancestry. the outfit is mostly made of dragon scales, because Men of Dale fought dragons of the Lonely Mountain for a long time.

That is incredible! And it matches the steed perfectly! I will definitely check out the details of where you found all those pieces.
I did not realize how long it has been since I checked into this thread. I have 100 pages of posts to catch up on! Since I've been away, so many fine outfits and entire blogs have been created. There are many posts I want to comment on, but I may have to go with an overall "Bravo" to all who have been contributing. The funny thing is, I have never been satisfied enough with my elf minstrel's garb to post it here. Maybe in these 100 pages I will find the perfect combination to steal.
In the sea without lees standeth the Bird of Hermes.
When all his feathers be from him gone, He standeth still here as a stone.
Here is now both white and red, And all so the stone to quicken the dead.
The Bird of Hermes is my name, Eating my wings to make me tame.
Here's an attempt at a sort of "lady Ranger" look. If you'd like to see the other pics and read the post, please click here.

My minstrel has been running around with a new outfit for some time now:
From top to bottom she's wearing
* Gwir-Palvais (drop from pits of isen)
* Arth-Crus (drop from new 3-man)
* Dire-singer's Braces (mini Galtrev armour)
* Dire-singer's Leggins (mini Galtrev armour)
All pieces are undyed.
Such wonderful outfits. When I get out of the hospital I'll have to post some of my own.
thank you very much! i'm happy you liked the outfit.
today i published the continuation of the Rhûnen outfits series. i started designing this outfit around the dress and the helm and it ended up as a matching outfit for the Anniversary mount
