Problems loading game.

Having the same issue of the load screen hanging at "Connection Successful ". I was online and playing with no worries two hours ago. I'm also on Vilya.

I keep hanging up after it says connection successful after it validates the credentials.

It looks like a mass crash on the game..I only see the NA servers down..Anyone from the EU can report?

Just to let you know, I am having the same problem on Meneldor still. =( Makes me sad

Me too. Ran into some invisible walls along with this other guy. Then he disappeared. And then I was the only person in the N. Downs online ... and then when I kicked out to see if that fixed things, it wouldn't let me back into Meneldor.

I play Vilya, and am having the same issue as some folks on here. Getting stuck at "Connection sucessful".

Starting to sound like the same connectivity problems they had the other day when they did the update, kinda sounding like the handoff from the authorization server to particular game servers aint making it. Dunno if its just my imagination now or not, do the forums seem a bit slow to everyone else too?

The problem seems to be on all hand-offs that the affected servers perform because I even tried to use the normal log-off command only to be removed from current area and not able to move but to be able to talk in say and tells and use skills.


For most of the people demanding a response you might not have much luck getting a response from a Community Team Member in the middle of the night, but you might be able to look forward to getting more scented candles or something else for the downtime.

Turbine is notorious for working on issues without notifying the players. They do it all the time.

People just need to be patient. So long as they have the issue identified and resolved before the weekend everything will be fine.

Can't log onto Vilya. I haven't played LOTRO in a couple weeks (been busy PVPing/raiding in a galaxy far far away) and we finished our raids early tonight so wanted to run an instance or two. And go figure, I cannot log on.

Hey everyone! Yes, we are aware that there are currently problems on Meneldor and Nimrodel. We're investigating the issue as we speak, and I'll give you guys more information when I get it. Sorry for the inconvenience!
