The Guardians of the Light is one of Eldars oldest kinships started on 14th June 2007, shortly after the launch of LOTRO.

It was started by Gizaron and Olote as a kinship dedicated to helping all its members to level up together and to form good friendships at the same time. The kinship still has some of the original members from 2007 including the founder and co-founder of the kin. We have held to our vision of playing together as a group of friends and have kept a spirit of fun and loyalty alive within our ranks. Some of our members have gone on to play other games but LOTRO remains our main base for our kinship.

We are a social kin. We value friendship and each and every member of our kin. We recognise that gamers have real lives to live and so we dont make any demands on the amount of time you spend online. Some of our members have to work away and may be off for months or longer. I can assure you that they recieve a hearty welcome when they at last find time to log back into the game.

We have an active group online each night and we hope to keep it that way which is why we are spreading the word that we would welcome new members. We have weekly kinship events, be it kinshipmeetings, instance runs, exploring and even filmmaking. We also have our own website (http://gotlkinship.co.uk/ ), Facebook Group and Ventrilo! We are in 2 active alliance groups to do end game raids and instances. So do come and check us out and see if we are the kinship you have been looking for.
