Horse quest in Combe?

I read on the casual stroll to mordor site that a new quest relating to the horse in Combe now exists, but I can't find any sight of it. Has anyone got more information on this?

Maybe it starts showing only when you are 75?
Or have to buy RoR to get the quest item that directs you there, otherwise wait till launch of RoR if you dont pre-ordered and see if it shows up then??

You will have to pre-purchase the RoR legendary edition to unlock that questline.

It shows up within the RoR pre-order. New deed as soon as you login after using the RoR unlock key. Hmm. above answer slightly better ( simultaneous posting) - may well be a legendary-only thing, don't know about the lower editions.

It SUCKS that the quest is only available with $70 pre-order I just want a horse-session play, you can keep the rewards if you want. And you don't get that questline with Basic/Heroic pre-orders, nor if you buy expansion with TP. Very lame

if so they should make this a little more obvious as that would make the $70 bundle slightly more bearable if people could see you are getting this extra over the other bundles.

I have no way of knowing it it is JUST that pack, but I can attest that my next play session will begin with Horseplay. And I bought that pack. Now that I have access, I have no way of seeing if it is in the store, and I don't know if it would unlock with a lower package.

But if you paid $70, it's there, as is the 6th bag. And the other stuff.

It's a shame that I cant play it with my basic version, tbh I can live without this and the other cosmetic bonuses but the item which gives a 4th major on LI is clearly selling power.

I would like to know whether this will ever become available to people who haven't pre-ordered the legendary package. I'm hoping that it will be included with the RoR expansion - or maybe even free when it goes live? That might be too much to hope for. But horse session play does sound very fun.

One of the many questions I hope will be addressed at some point in the next couple months.

According to http://rohan.lotro.com/pre-order.html , it will be available for legendary edition buyers, before and after release. Will probably also end up in the store.

In the horse session play, it is kind of fun to have the horse defeat an aurochs in the North Down with a single kick that sends it flying through the air!

Also, it seems that War Horses can swim!

Ignoring the actual session play quest and taking your horse down to Bree is kinda fun. It tends to draw a crowd!

I finished the North Downs part in the quest line (horse session), but after this, no more new quests, how can i finish the deeds?

Technically, it shouldn't be available later on in any other manner, as it's 'Exclusive Rohan Content' that is included with the Legendary edition only.
However, that's not to say that it won't pop up in store later on, once they hope that people have forgotten that this was supposed to be an exclusive perk.

3. Do I have to buy the expansion to get a War-steed?
No. All players will be able to participate in mounted combat. Free players, however, do not have access to all of the War-steeds abilities (two of the three trait trees are locked) but will be able to purchase access and unlock s through the LOTRO store. Players who have purchased the Expansion will have all aspects of mounted combat unlocked immediately.

So it's not what gives this third trait tree then, mentioned in the RoR FAQ?

Well, you can probably buy the Legendary edition later. We have no guarantee of this (I don't think) but given that you can still buy all three versions of RoI in the web store, I think there's good reason to believe that RoR will behave the same.

If you're actually asking if there will be any way to purchase it without buying the entire Legendary pack: I read the answer as no, but who really knows? I wouldn't count on it.
