Downtime Patch Notes

My point was not that it won't be up, is that it should be up prior to the downtime as a matter of efficiency and respect to the player base.; not an hour before or after the servers come back up.

I think that when I awaken way too early (before sunrise!) only to find myself deprived of LoTRO due to planned downtime, Turbine should be gracious enough to come to my home and make me coffee. Y'know, as a gesture of respect toward their player base.

I think they've started to do them after downtime started to stop ppl to prepare for a specific change in the last minute. Lets say Festival Tokens where to be bound on account or character. Turbine might not want to tell people that.

So posting a brief opinion/question on something is wrong and deserving of insults? Turbine has had policy changes and not for the better ... regardless of followers who shun and insult anyone who decides to speak out a view not consistent with worship at the alter of Turbine. Who might I add, I have defended on many occasions. I am not one to speak out of misguided fancy. I am well aware the notes will probably be up around 8/9:30 EDT ...

EDIT No, I see the original poster has been with us since 2007. The assumption that the post was snarky was most likely correct. I stand corrected.

What I think is a bigger issue then the patch notes not available at the time downtime starts, it's more that to find them you need to look all over the place... There should be a reward for finding them.

Also there have been times the notes were posted a few hours after the servers came up...
